People are aqa maula this and that because of fear. Since they are ignorant, they believe that obeying aqa maula in every possible way is the only way to salvation. If they knew better, they would know that the aqa maula is leading them straight to hell fire (well, they may get a reduced sentence if they feign ignorance, or they may be completely forgiven inshaallah).
But just as half the Americans believe that God talks to Bush, most Bohras believe that God talks to Syedna through the Imam.
The only way to save them is through the quran. Read it and study it and then get in touch with someone who is knowledgeable about Islam.

Dictionary meaning of:
Aqa- master, husband, ruler.
Maula - master, god, king, slave who has been freed.
But since our 51st Dai Sayedna Taher Saifuddin Saheb claimed in the Chandabhoy Galla case that he is the master of body, soul and property of Dawoodi Bohras, it became a formolity to address him as Aqa Maula.
