Famous bohri website malumaat shows Aqa Moula doing some inaugurating on Najam Baug Hall in our Mumbai with lots of golds, big decorative things and chandeliers.

http://malumaat.com/akhbar1426/mumbai/index10.html

Why is so much grandeur spent by khotars when there is so much poverty in our city. This is not right. It is bad that on one side there is poor peoples struggling and on the other side an extremely expensive thing is made which may have been more simpler.

These kotars really have no feeling or concerns for the people around India.

There is no such thing as simplicity in this community. Please note that Bohra's are ruled by a King and therfore all the show and pomp is necessary to impress the followers. No to mention that the show and pomp is financed from the hard earned mony of the followers.!!

I am new Kid on the block from Udaipur residing in Mumbai.

Yes the pomp and show done is really a stupid act...I stay near to Airport and all Boris flock around Airport like idiots...wassup man..you hv given Syedna Sahab a status of more then Allah it seems.

I am seeing more and more jokers becoming fanatic and dancing on tunes of Ganu Jiwo...

I would never say anything wrong about Syendna since he is a leanred person...but the jokers who are always around him is royally fooling Bohra community..

They cannot renovate Tyebya School in Udaipur ....but hv got money to do all undesirable stuff..

I will keep on pouring mails...this is a good site ...but few guys are too boring...pls put good messages which are eye openers...

Live Like Ali ........Die like Hussain

Bohri's are still very simple, during the Aga khan's visit to Canada, over 10 million dollars were spent on his deedar, total of 135,000 Murids were present in four Deedar sessions. Per Murid cost for Deedar was CAD74.07. Besides that the cost of travelling, boarding, lodging and shopping incurred by individuals from the USA and Canada was near to the same amount. What a simplicity of Ale-Nabi Aulade Ali. To remember, the cost of 10 million was contributed by the Murids.

How can you conclude that it was simple? You've got the numbers for the HH Aga Khan's visit, but have you got the same for HH Aqua Moula?

Moreover, Aqua Moula comes with a huge entourage - including many of his seven "wannabe Dai" sons. We did not see a huge entourage for HH Aga Khan?

Mumineen,

If you see the pictures on web for the Bohri Dai's recent visit to California and compare it to the Deedar Hall for the Aga Khan you will come up with the measure of simplicity. Only to do the foundation ceremony of centre of pluralism, a 4 star hotel was booked for the local leadership to stay and witness the function.

In continuation of my previous post, the stage on which Aga khan's chair was set, was only used for 4 hours two hours each in Toronto and Vancouver. The stage was designed by an architect and was approved from the Aga khan's office in Aiglemont. I am not saying that he is doing luxury, he is spending money because he has the money.

Musafir:

You say that the Aga Khan is spending the money because he has the money. Does this mean that Aqua Moula doesn't seem to spend the money because he does not have the money?. What popycock?

Why would his sons and daughters call themselves Princes and Princesses? Or why would they call their residences Saifee Mahal or Badri Mahal; or Aqua Moula call himself Sultan-ul-Bohra? May be you are right. He does not spend his money but the ill-gotten gains from the gullible flock!.

How much money was spent on the political donations to pimp/seduce self-congratulatory letters (obviously drafted by the Kotharis) the letters from Bush and all those Amercian senators and congressmen?

How much money was spent by the entourage's travel and accomodation, salaams and waajebaats - including improving the residences of the Bohri Americans where the entourage members stayed.?
When Aqua Moula was last in Toronto, Canada one khidmatguzaar boasted that he had spent about $200,000 to instal the Burhani Sandaas for the royal visitor.

How much money is regularly spent by the Bohris (the "groupies" who come from all over the world) on their travels and accomodation, wherever Aqua Moula visits any country.

The list goes on and on........

Two wrongs do not make one right and just because Aga Khan is spending millions of dollar on pomp a d ceremony or Pope spending millions on funeral procession does not give Kothar the right to do the same thing. While we compare Aga Khan's spending to justify Kothar we call Saudi as extreme Wahabi but donot learn good deeds from them which was a simple unmarked grave for the king.
Let us pick the good deeds from everybody and leave out the bad deeds.
