Burhani College has no reputation among the general public as a whole in Mumbai. Compared to other prestigious colleges in Mumbai such as Ruparel, Ruia, Sydenham, Jai Hind, KC, Mithibai, Narsee Monjee, Sardar Patel, Sathaye and the likes, Burhani college stands no where. Its kind of safe or the last option for general public if they can't get in other colleges. For some bohras, it might be the first option due to sentimental value!

Burhani college offers graduate degree (not 4 year but mainly 3 year ones) such as B.Com, BA, BBA, BS etc.. Its also a junior college (11th, 12th grade equivalent to high school)
