Easiest way for KQ to gain masses..

There are many reasons why Bohras have to bow down to the kothar... ie: marriage hall for children's marriage... using the comforts of faiz during ziyaarat ... but most importantly, allowing the dead to be burried in our graveyard. The last is the most important because we are very peculiar about it...

Re: A Manifesto on behalf of the Dawoodi Bohra Community

Another serious crisis that threatened the Dawudi community occurred in 1256 H./1840 C.E. when the 46th da’i Sayyidna Muhammad Badruddin died without nominating his successor. The four prominent masha’ikh (scholars) of the time led by Abd-e Ali Imaduddin kept the information from the community (for...

Which side of the bridge are you on?

Once I saw a guy on a bridge about to jump. I said, "Don't do it!" He said, "Nobody loves me." I said, "God loves you. Do you believe in God?" He said, "Yes." I said, "Are you a Muslim or a non-Muslim?" He said, "A Muslim." I said, "Me...

In a Sunni mosque, the imam is paid a certain fee for his services to his fellow believers...I accept... now how many Sunni Imams do you see roaming the world in private jets and rolls royce?.... The 'ruling family' are leading their luxurious life our of money we pay as Zakaat which is now known as...

Lamiya, First, just because you decided that Dawoodi Bohra Islam is the true Islam based upon your own research, doesn't mean it is. For all you know, you jumped out of the fire right into the frying pan!! Second, a more appropriate example for the lifestyle of the current Dai is not Nabi Sulaiman,...

Re: Khuzema bhaisaheb Qutbuddin is 53rd dai

To add my 2 cents.... There is nothing wrong about being rich... it is all about how the riches are used/abused... ie :israaf... Prophet Mohammed was NOT poor... He was from Banu Hashim and they were VERY rich and powerful... The only reason why none of the qureysh could touch him was because of Abu...

Long gone are the days the community listens to the leader, its time the leader listens to those who have been listening all before. This is not democracy , Ammar. We need a Da'i .. This post is a direct reply to the original post. 1. Hasan (AS) gave his oath to Muwaiyah for the same reason Hazrat Ali (AS) gave his oath to Abu Bakar, Omer and Uthman...to avoid civil wars and to avoid Islam from being perished. He didnot want the Propehts hard work to go down the drain.... 2. Hu...
