No one in his right mind would agree that the dai is accumulating wealth just for the sake of Imam-uz-zaman. Just look around you and see how the illgotten wealth is flaunted and used by his sons for their extravagant and opulant lifestyles. See how much of the wealth is in total control of his sons and relatives who blatantly use it for their own aiyashi.

BTW If you read the bohra literature on the virtues and power of the hidden Imam then you will realise that he is so very powerful that he doesnt need any wealth to spread his word. He is supposed to posses such divine powers that the world at large will bow down before him just by looking at his radiant face. There are many such virtues which according to bohras elevate the Imam to such a level that worldly wealth is irrelavent to him.

Month of Ramadan passed and we lightened our pockets in the name of collection of taxes called wajebaat, Saw some new names come up in the list. Apart from Sila Fitra and najwa, now sheikhs are roaming around with Thelaas for Qardan Hasana also !

My cousin was suppose to get married last year in Rasme Saifee, so to get his safaai chitthi he paid dues and laagats. Due to some professional commitments and logistical hassles he could not attend the wedding and it had to be postponed. Safaai chitti expired as the event date passed. He is due to get married next month. He approached jamat to renew his safaai chitti and to his surprise he was asked to pay laagat again. He presented the receipts of previous laagats but sheikh laughed it off and said that’s gone with the day. He had to pay fresh laagat to get raza and safaai chitthi. Apart from clear dues submitted for sabeel and wajebaat the smarty sheikh was quick to add haj-e-badal and mawaaid hoob to the list. But the hardcore abde cousin finally squeaked a meek rebellion with join palms to spare him the donation as he had already paid during wajebaat.

What I meant is, we pass off our responsibility to defend our savings or self respect to the deeds of kothar; kothar is like this and kothar is like that, kothar is evil and stuff.

Entire world, society or community is not fair at large. Its better to own up responsibility of our actions and move on. Its too much of a task to reform the system. Invite hatred, wrath and threat to ourselves or family members under this heavily controlled system. There are various option a troubled soul has. But any way out requires self realization and confidence which can come only if one has total faith in Allah rather then the godmens !

My expression of way out is not way out of community or life, but a way out of this mental trauma of being fleeced or fooled. Today Kothar has modified a lot definitions of being a bohra, Just to make it simple for myself to understand. We all live in communities and I respect the community I live in. For every word of good conduct which has universal and equality in its essence I accept and every practice of discrimination and injustice I reject.

I paid my wajebaat this year, I walked in without fear or intimidation, I felt obliged to pay the amount that I decided for reasons known to me. I (mostly my family)) use the community facility as much as I can. Lets own up the community in our hearts first by our intention then deeds and then resources.

Bohraji, SBM, MN, Ahmedplumber, and many others who chipped in to come forward and help people in the community (Ahmedabad) is a fine example.

I consider wajebaat as form of taxation in the community, which is more or less a negotiated / bargained amount with Amils. So there is no percentage that I can calculate on (I m speaking personally)

MF whatever percentage the wajebat as long as the intent , purpose of beneficiaries are wrong it is invalid , abdes should know that after giving the thousands to their amils they have still not paid their real Islamic zakat! Hence it is wasted money, they should consciously consider it is a casual najwa.

dezine interiors,i was introduced by a man to him , i joined on a promise that i wont leave office alone or set a man trained by me before leaving. for 2 years i was alone in office work hard.
after 3 year i brought a boy trained by me at home ,he joined ,worked with me ,i brought
another boy , i worked very hard for 6 years ,after 6 y i got health problems ,by long use of computer,
nerve,spondlosys carpel tuneell syndrome, ect. then i cant work like before,then problem came.
i was out of job no money at all left for me . the FACT is he cheated me left job less, earned lacks of Rs. so in my opinion he is fraud . i help him by sincerity ,he left me alone in my bad time .
then question comes ,u people are are this run for money. or what to sayyyyy ,iam Sunni Muslim

greedy and cheaters are present in every sect, and if some body is bohra it doesnt means he cant cheat or steal........

u shud have saved money in all these years.....any ways my dua is for all momeenin no matter in which sect they are.
