This is a public forum, I haven't twisted anything you have said. Perhaps you need to be 'spoon feed' on the Bohra etiquette of eating on the thaal. Jamaan/ chawaal/ rice if given on a plate, is removed from the plate and placed in the centre of the thaal for all to take and share with their hands, for salads and other non-liquidy dishes if solid enough to be picked up with hands then hands are used.
