The prayers of the Bohras

The Bohri Faraz namaz has so many additional steps compared to all other muslims. Why is that?

In order:
1) Waqulil Hamdu
2) Azaan
3) Allahumma Alaiyha
4) Iqamat
5) Allahumma Rabbad
6) Niyat
7) Wajjahtu
8 ) 1st raqaat
9) 2nd raqaat
10) small attaiyat
11)other raqaat
12) big Attaiyat

From my understanding , most others pray their faraz as: 4), 6), 8 ), 9), 12) , 11), 12).

Why is this? Especially since Namaaz was there during the time of the Prophet(PBUH). Have we added extras to the prayers over time?
