Amidst the serenity of Fasting and Prayers friends in Karachi have reported the most disturbing of news in years. Shaikh Ali-Asghar the right hand man of Mansoor Bhai Sahib, entrusted with collection and handing over of Wajibaat and whose recent rise from tatters to palace was alraedy the talk of town, was caught red-handed stealing an envelope of Wajibaat.
Authentic news reveal that the filthy shaikh has threatened to reveal the name of his accomplices in peominent positions and has demanded (ironically) 52 lacs to keep silent.
Whether he will be removed from office to set an example remains to be seen.
If there is any honour left in those following the Syedna sincerely, if there is any conscience left at all with the forerunners of the Jamaat than they should not allow this --- to enter our mosque. The Karachi Jamaat in many mohallas have not allowed those mumins who have not paid their Sabeel to come for Ramazan Niaz. Lets see what punishment it has in store for theives caught red handed stealing Zakaat.

The charging and recieving Wajebat money is an illegal dealing, as it goes unaccounted for tax purposes. And as such people from top to bottom involved in this activity are dishonest and corrupt. I think the final beneficiaries of Vazratus-Saifia and Kothar know about this.
Therefore this year in Bombay, Wajebat amounts were recieved by Bank Demand Drafts. Reason given was that it saves time in counting the cash. But real reason is to stop stealing of amount when it passes through various hands.

People who know this shaikh says that nothing is going to happen to him. Karachiites say that no punitive action will be taken against this person as almost all concerned are the beneficiaries. If such is the case and when even zakaat is not spared from the greed of Mullahs Its only a matter of time when this community of hypocrates will taste His wrath. 'Wajebat' is a unique creation of our moneymaking 52nd Daiz-Zaman. The word 'Wajebat' was coined by late Yusuf Najmuddin (master-brain), means ‘compulsory’, but it is claimed by him that it is voluntary.
In fact and in effect it is compulsory because without paying it one does NOT get Safai chitthi and I-card.
Since it has no religious or legal base or sanction it is at the will of any Amil or Jamat secretary to go on increasing its rate and its application on person, establishment etc.
They have included Zakat and Sila-fitra to give it a Quranic colour but if the Zakat and Sila-fitra amount is not charged and distributed as per Quranic instructions it has no meaning. Islam does not permit to make filthy rich more richer and more arrogant to exploit and ransack the society.
Dawoodi Bohras should show some courage and refused to pay it in mass and they would see that the extortionists cannot do anything except threatening for Baraat.
