NOTE: FATWA AGAINST ASGHAR MALOON'S IRTIDAD IN THE LARGEST WEEKLY MAGAZINE OF PAKISTAN "MAG-VOL.21, NO.15, APRIL 8-14,2000" GUILTY OF HERESYBY: QAZI SHAIKH ABBAS BORHANYToday not only Muslims but non Muslims too, are paying homage and tribute to Rasoolullah (S.A.W.A) and Islam in different ways with different manners. Non Muslims are largely attracting towards the teachings of Islam and they recognized it as a Religion of Human Rights. At the same time some malicious and cursed elements, who have the spirit of Shimar and Yazid, are spending their time in committing atrocities against the Rasoolullah (S.A.W.A) and Islam. They are busy in sabotage activities. It is a gang of bad elements who are more dangerous than the non Muslim opponents. The Muslim Ummah is troubled more by them than the non Muslim rivals. Those so called Muslims, committed such heinous crimes against the Islam and the Muslim Ummah which were even not done by the non Muslim enemies of Islam. Gangsters of the above gang are unfortunately recognized as a Muslim (so called), just because they were born in a Muslim families. Salman Rushdee, Tasleema Nasreen, Asgharali Engineer, Zulfiqar Husain Orangabadi and Iftikhar are the arch gangsters in the list of such criminals. The Muslim Ummah is well aware about the atrocities of Salman Rushdee and Tasleema Nasreen but they are not much aware about the crimes and heresy of Asgharali Engineer, who introduces himself as a so called Muslim Scholar. This Indian Shaitan is an open enemy of Islam and its divine teachings. Majority of the educated class are in wrong impression about him, because he uses very trickily such language which have two senses simultaneously. Thus common readers could not understand his malicious intention, hidden behind the lines. He expresses his anti Islam ideas in a way which confuses the minds and create doubts in the minds of readers. This Indian Shaitaan targeted Quraan, Islam, Rasoolullah (S.A.W.A) and Muqaddasaat many times through his books, articles, lectures and activities. As a writer of many books and articles Asghar Engineer is recognized as a man of so called liberal ideas, who advocates the reformation of the Shariat. One can easily understand that what kind of person he is who does not believe in the finality and perfection of the Shariat. As an example I am quoting a few sentences from his writings. He wrote as under: "All the decisions taken by Muhammad were not based on the divine commands. The Prophet, in many important matters, was guided by the Arab customs and the pressure of public opinion in finally deciding the issues. From the close scrutiny of the early sources of Islamic history it is not wide off the mark to maintain that the Prophet could only carry out the legal decisions with the endorsement and consent of public opinion and under its pressure", (The Islamic State, Asghar Ali Engineer). What this Shaitaan actually tried to explain is, whatever decisions given by Rasoolullah (S.A.W.A) are simply the decisions of any ordinary human being, full of faults. In this sentence he clearly contradicts the Quraan. It is clearly explained in the Quraan that each and every act of the Rasoolullah (S.A.W.A) is under the divine instructions and influence of Wahi and nothing else. Thus similar like Yazid Maloon, Asghar Engineer openly refuses and rejects the divine status of Rasoolullah (S.A.W.A) and his divine power of Wahi. In the next para of the above mentioned book he further uttered that, "what the Prophet left behind him was an extremely primitive state – structure based more on local traditions and the Arab ethos as, during his life time, the religion of Islam as well as his temporal power had remained confined to the Arabian Peninsula". Through these lines he denied the perfection of the Deen, which has been explained in the Quraan in very clear terms. The golden History of Islam has largely witnessed the glorious victory of Makkah by Rasoolullah (S.A.W.A). After the victory Rasoolullah (S.A.W.A) treated all his hidden and open arch enemies so graciously that his Adal and Ahsaan changed the minds of many and they came into the fold of Islam. But Shatime Rasool, Asghar Maloon’s writings denies the facts. He unsuccessfully attempts to hide the Ahsanaat of Rasoolullah (S.A.W.A). In his book, ‘The Origin & development of Islam in pg. 28 he denied the generous attitude of Rasoolullah (S.A.W.A) with special reference to the event of Hijrat and its influence upon the Arabia. "It may be noted in passing that the great conquests of Islam of the north-east and the north-west countries with the help of Bedouins of the desert represent a similar phenomenon of increasing pressure on the land, resulting in mass migration towards the north. This has repeatedly happened in the history of the Arabs". What he unsuccessfully tried to express is that the victories which were won by the Bedouins of Arabia in North East and North West due to event of Hijrat. In the history of Arab such events came repeatedly. Through his wordings Maloon Engineer not only denied the Rasoolullah’s (S.A.W.A) Shaan of Rahmat but he also denied the divinity of the act of Hijrat. Nubuwat and Risalat is such a Status about whom Aqal of Insaan has no access. Insaan is totally helpless to understand the deep meaning and sense of the acts of Rasool (S.A.W.A). Asghar Maloon denied the Ibadat, Riazat, Taqwa and Ijtehaad of the Nabi (S.A.W.A) on pg. 86, ‘The Origin and development of Islam’. "After long years of meditation in the cave of Hira, Mohammad (who after his marriage to the rich widow Khadija, was sufficiently provided for and had leisure to meditate), came to certain conclusions which, if translated into practice, would completely transform Meccan society. Obviously, he was convinced that all this was revealed to him by the Almighty God through the Archangel Gabriel (could it have been an hallucinatory image?)". Its substance is this that after marrying with a rich widow, Mohammad (S.A.W.A) got the enough time for Ibadat and Riazat and he got a time for relaxation. He (Nabi) reached the conclusion after spending long time in the cave of Hira that if he got chance to do according to his opinion then the civilization of Makkah could be changed totally. Especially he was sure that Allah revealed these ideas through Jibraeel (Is it not a false impression). Asghar Maloon committed another insult through his writings that this Shatime Rasool does not use any Alqaab with the name of Rasoolullah (S.A.W.A). The golden history of Islam witnesses that Rasoolullah (S.A.W.A) got married with Syeda Khadija (A.S.) on her humble request. It’s evidence is the wordings of Waraqa bin Nufil, which he used in his speech before Rasoolullah (S.A.W.A) in the Majlis of Nikah. After Hamd and Sanaa, cousin of Syeda Khadija, Waraqa bin Nufil said, we are best among the Arabs and noble among them and you (O Mohammad (S.A.W.A)) too have all the Fazaeel. None have doubt upon your Fazaeel and none denied it. No one has refuted the Sharaf and Fakhar you have achieved. No doubt, it is our wish that through the Nikah (with Khadija) relationship should be establish with you (Madarijun Nubuwat, Vol. 2, pg. 44, Shaikh Abdul Haq Muhaddis Dehlvi). Writer of Rawzatul Ahbab’s wordings is an enough evidence that Rasoolullah (S.A.W.A) Nikah with Syed Khadija (A.S.) was not for wealth but it was the good response of her request. Mufasereen of the Quraan interpret Ayat 8 of Surah al Duha in this context. Quraan says, "He (Allah) found you (Mohammad) in need, so (at once) made you independent". Some Mufassareen very wrongly interpret this Ayat to say that the wealth of Syeda Khadija made the Rasoolullah (S.A.W.A) independent of worldly need, enabling him to devote his whole life to the service of Allah. Actually independence refers to the "self-sufficiency" which Allah had bestowed on his most beloved Rasoolullah (S.A.W.A). After such a very clear Tafseer, Maloon Engineer uttered that, after marrying with Khadija, Mohammad got time for Ibadat and Riazat and also got time for relaxation. It is totally an open enmity with Islam and Rasoolullah (S.A.W.A).Jihaad is one of the Faraez upon which every Muslim has firm Aqeeda. There are numorious Ayaat in the Quraan regarding Jihaad. Rasoolullah (S.A.W.A) not only spent his whole life in Jihaad but he also invited the Ummah towards this institution. Shaitaan Engineer totally condemns this Farz on pg. 75 of his book ‘The Origin and development of Islam’. "The inhospitable desert of Arabia hardly provided any other worthwhile means of sustance (except to plunder the rich trade caravans or townspeople living in urban centres). This plunder, known as Ghazwa (i.e., raid), became institutionalized on account of its sheer economic necessity. Even Mohammad, as is well known, made use of this to bring his recalcitrant enemies to their knees". What he says is that Arab had no source of sustance in the desert except they looted the caravans of the traders or made targeted the people of towns. This raid which was called Gazwa got the sacred status only due to fulfillment of the economic needs. Otherwise world knows that Rasoolullah (S.A.W.A) used it (Gazwa) just to make his enemies bow down right before his feet. This is the substance of Shaitaan Asghar’s wordings, Lanatullah upon him. Every sensible Muslim feels great pain on reading senseless talks. Otherwise everyone knows that how fast the teachings of Islam spread around the world. During the period of Rasoolullah (S.A.W.A), after the Hijrat, the political situation was very dangerous. All the arch enemies of Islam got together just to kill the Rasoolullah (S.A.W.A). In such a period of trial and tribulation there was no other alternative for Rasoolullah (S.A.W.A) for defence and protection of Islam except the institution of Jihaad. Their were only two option for him, either to bow down before the Kuffaar or defence through the sacred institution of Jihaad with full Imaan upon Allah Taala. Rasoolullah (S.A.W.A) had raised the sword only for the protection of the Islam and the Ummah. Rasoolullah (S.A.W.A) practiced Jihaad only to eliminate the Fasaad and establish the Adal. After such clear aims if anyone named Jihaad as a plunder and called the Gazwa as a raid, then there is no doubt on his heresy and Irtidad. The list of Asghar’s heresy is very long. Just to get the support from the so called modern women, he largely discusses the issues related with the women exclusively and unnecessarily discussed on their affairs. He advocates the reformation in the divine laws of the Quraan, Naozubillah. 6. "The main area of reform in the Muslim Personal Law are: (1) Polygamy, (2) Arbitrary Divorce, and (3) Maintenance after divorce", (The Right of Woman in Islam, pg. 155; Asgharali Engineer). He further uttered on pg. 155, "The Rights of women in Islam" as under: The reformists argue that taking more than one and upto four wives is not generally allowed in the Holy Quraan. Permission was granted in specific circumstances when more than one tenth of the Muslim population had been wiped out in Wars with the unbelievers. He further stated on pg. 157 ‘It is very unfortunate that later theologians and Muslims treated this highly restricted permission as a general license for marrying more than one wife’. He uttered on pg. 163 as under: "we have seen in an earlier chapter that a daughter inherits from her father half of what her brother gets. This has been considered iniquitous by many. It has been suggested that her share be raised to be on a par with her brother". He is Pro Rushdee and Tasleema Nasreen. Through his articles he argued on this point that Fatwa of Ayatullah al Khomeni was only for personal gain rather than being Islami. It is but natural that such types of idiots are open enemies of the laws of Quraan. This is a valid reason that this Indian Shaitaan is totally against the law of Tawheene Risalat and he openly declared his displeasureness against it. He explained his views under the caption: "Blasphemy Law is insult to Islam", in which he stated that, …….. "Such death sentences are a miscarriage of Justice". All those who are individually or collectively clamouring that the law pertaining to death sentence as a punishment for an insult or disrespect to Rasoolullah (S.A.W.A) be abolished as it is against Human Rights. Every Muslim has a right to ask from where the disrespect and insult to Rasoolullah (S.A.W.A) has been included in Human Rights. How this law is termed miscarriage of Justice? Asgharali Engineer is a notorious representative of the forces inimical of Islam in a garb of a Muslim. It is a conspiracy of the anti-Islam forces that law of Tawheene Risalat should be abrogated so cursed persons like Salman Rushdee, Tasleema Nasreen, Asgharali Engineer, Zulfiqar Orangabadi & Iftikhar may spread their Shaitani Mission in Pakistan. Asgharali Engineer and all his cursed supporters and well wishers should note and understand that Pakistan is a Muslim country and the basis of the Constitution of Pakistan is enshrined in the Quraan and Sunnat. No Muslim can tolerate indulgence and interference in their Aqeeda. Asgharali Engineer totally used wrong term of Blasphemy Law for Hadd of Irtidad, which is completely wrong term. Term of Blasphemy was coined by the Roman Church. While in Islam Hadd of Irtidad applies to those who insult Quraan, Rasoolullah (S.A.W.A), Shaair and Muqaddasaat. Government of Pakistan and Superior Judiciary must pay attention and take serious action against such Maloon elements and not only Ban their Books but totally declare them ‘Non Grata Persons’ for Pakistan. If the authorities overlook such matters then Muslims themselves will take serious action against it. Our lives are not more precious than the Namoos (Respect and Honour) of Rasoolullah (S.A.W.A). In Daemul Islam, Syedna Qazi Numan (R.A.) has quoted a clear order of Amiral Momeneen, Ali (A.S.) regarding the act of Irtidad that we will kill the Murtad and not ask him/her for Tauba, who was born as a Muslim and than became Murtad.
