MF, since this is the appropriate section, I shall take you up (or anyone else) on the issue or meaning of "salat", which does not correlate to physical supplications. Only one verse in the quran will suffice and negate the Arabized idolworshipping version. The only legit word for supplication or prayer is "dua" and does not need any specific directions towards Kaba (Mecca) as alleged since righteousness is not by turning your faces towards east or west.
