Muslim aid to Haiti

Dear Friends,
There is no limit below which Islamophobes will not stoop in order to give Muslims a bad name. It is totally shameless to exploit a terrible tragedy in Haiti to try and score points off Muslims.
Those who do not read 'The American Muslim' regularly should do so - in order to gain access to the encyclopedic knowledge that Sr Sheila Musaji almost singlehandedly brings to present Islam and Muslims in perspective

Subject: Muslim aid to Haiti FYI
Salaam,

Haiti and the “Heartless” Muslims?
by Sheila Musaji
It is difficult sometimes not to respond in the same bigoted and vicious vein to those who continually attempt to cast all Muslims as the super villains of planet earth. The most recent Islamophobic propaganda is that Muslims have done nothing to help the people of Haiti during their time of need. Some of the posts and articles make claims like “Muslims don’t help Christians” or even Jews vs Muslims. One article in Israel National News was titled “Haiti Relief: Israel Sends 220 – Muslims Send 0” referring to the Israeli relief efforts. This is an outright lie, and the author of the article should be ashamed. Israel has participated in relief efforts to Haiti, including the following: * A field hospital, the only hospital in operation, with 40 doctors, 25 nurses, paramedics, a pharmacy, a children’s ward, a radiology department, an intensive care unit, an emergency room, two operating rooms, a surgical department, an internal department and a maternity ward. The hospital can treat approximately 500 patients each day, and in addition will perform preliminary surgeries. * A search-and-rescue team, which has rescued about five people from under the rubble. * 220 personnel in total * Dozens of truckloads of medical and logistical equipment. That is wonderful.

There has been an outpouring of support from around the world from governments, aid organizations, and individuals. That is also wonderful. What is not wonderful is the attempt by some to turn this into a propaganda incident. That is reprehensible. There has been a rash of articles about why Muslims haven’t donated, what is wrong with Muslims, Muslims have no compassion, etc. Just to set the record straight, here are a few examples of Muslim involvement in this current human tragedy in Haiti:

Individual Muslims are involved in relief efforts. Among the poorest people on earth - Palestinians in Gaza have collected supplies and money to donate to Haiti.

Muslim organizations are involved in a number of ongoing relief efforts.

The Islamic Medical Association of North America (IMANA) has helped convert an amusement park in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, to a health care facility/clinic. IMANA has sent a team of doctors and will send rotating teams of doctors weekly.
ISNA has set up a fund, already delivered $67,000 and is continuing to raise funds.
Muslim Charities are involved in relief efforts.
Al-Khidmat Foundation and Edhi Foundation, Pakistan are mobilising relief efforts to help Haitians despite the country’s own political and economic volatility. Both organisations have considerable expertise in this area due to the massive 2005 earthquake that killed nearly 80,000 in northern Pakistan. The Edhi Foundation has already pledged $500,000 to assist Haiti and Dr. Edhi is going to Haiti himself to assess what help they might provide.
Helping Hand for Relief and Development’s Medical Base Camp is up and running in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Medical doctors and nurses treated 500 patients yesterday. Another team of medical doctors is arriving this Friday, to treat the severely injured and sick.

Islamic Relief, USA is on the ground in Haiti and the U.S. branch has pledged $1 million and is working with the Mormon church to send supplies by plane. Islamic Relief, Canada and “Seekers Digest” hosted the “Muslim Online Haiti Fundraiser” and raised over $100,000 in two hours. The organisation also used its existing partnership with the Mormon Church to send hygiene kits and temporary shelters to Haiti, in addition to pledging a total of $2.5 million.
Mohammed Bin Rashid al-Maktoum Charity (MBRMC) and Life for Relief and Development (Life), UAE is sending $1.25 million-worth of food, water, medicine, medical supplies, clothing and other emergency supplies.
Muslim Aid of Australia was on the ground in Haiti within hours after the quake. They have also sent a team focused on providing access to clean drinking water with purification units as well as setting up a large inflatable field emergency hospital. Much needed clean water, emergency shelters, medicines and food aid are now getting to the victims of the disaster. Muslim Aid in the UK also donated £75,000, and its teams were installing purification units to provide clean drinking water and setting up a mobile field hospital.
Red Crescent, UAE is delivering aid supplies. Red Crescent International as part of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies is actively involved in Haiti Aid including participation in running a field hospital.
The Zakat Foundation has been purchasing supplies in the Dominican Republic and trucking them in to Haiti daily. One of the delivery points is St. Clare’s Church in Port-au-Prince, and the Zakat Foundation is making sure the church is supplied with food and water on a regular basis. The church uses the supplies to feed up to 3,000 people daily, and the Zakat Foundation supplies food directly to some 700 orphans at a camp near the church. ... The Zakat Foundation is locating more orphans and aims to open a permanent orphanage in Haiti.
16 UK based Muslim-led charities are raising funds for Haiti. The amount raised could reach a total of £ 10 million pounds (app. $16 million) in the next couple of months. These charities include: Al Mustafa Trust International, Helping Hands Worldwide, Human Appeal International, Human Relief Foundation, Islamic Aid, Islamic Help, Islamic Relief, Minhaj Welfare Foundation UK, Muslim Aid, Muslim Care, Muslim Charity Helping the Needy, Muslim Global Relief, Muslim Hands, The World Federation of Khoja Shia Ithna-Asheri Muslim Communities, UK Care for Children, Ummah Welfare Trust.
Muslim countries are involved in relief efforts.
Algeria has donated $1 million.
Bahrain has pledged $1 million
Egypt sent medical supplies and personnel.
Indonesia has sent 30 tons of aid worth US$22 million to Haiti
Iran has donated 30 metric tons of aid.
Jordan has sent two planes carrying Jordanian medics and medical equipment.
Kuwait has donated $1 million and sent 100 tons of food to Haiti’s quake survivors.
Lebanon sent a plane with 25 tons of tents and three tons of medical supplies.
Libya sent a shipment of supplies and medicine.
Morocco has pledged $1 million
Qatar sent 50 metric tons of aid, $100,000 cash and a 26 person rescue team
Saudi Arabia has donated $50 million.
Syria sent 30 tons of supplies
Turkey has pledged $1 million and there are four Turkish relief groups on the ground in Haiti. Aid in the form of a mobile hospital, tents, blankets, and food was provided by the Turkish Healthy Ministry and the Turkish Red Crescent.
The UAE is organizing planes for an air bridge to bring supplies to Haiti, and has sent over $2.6 million
And, it should be noted (but usually isn’t) that references to Red Cross help are actually references to Red Cross-Red Crescent International. There are also Muslim doctors with Doctors Without Borders and other medical groups, etc. Muslims are organizing a LIVE 5 hour ‘MuslimsForHaiti’ Telethon on ARY Digital, that will air worldwide; USA, Europe, Canada, Middle East, UK, and Pakistan on Saturday January 30th, 2010 12:00 pm EST. The World Bank is providing a $100 million grant, and the U.N. is sending $10 million. (Muslims are also part of those organizations).
If people want to object to some particular Muslim country not giving what they consider to be enough, that is one thing, however, to cast all Muslims as heartless is quite another.

AoA,

The fact of the matter is that both print and electornic media is under the commond of the Jews and therefore they can say watever they want and get away with it. We muslims do not have the courage to counter argue and print and release a response to this. You have presented excellent details on the response from Muslims but the point is how will we ever be able to get this across the other side.

I only read this morning that in Hague, the goverment is taking the arab community or some of the arabs to court i think as they denied the holocaust via a cartoon. Apparently it has hurt their sentiments greatly. We muslims will not raise any voice against this or remind them of their shame when they printed the cartoon of RasuAllah (Saw) or tell them this is how we felt.

There should be a reaction/reply to their comments but it should be done intelligently. I hope we can find enough unity and courage to counter these ridiculous claims.

Mass-media in various countries accuse 'Israelis' of murders of Haitian children for organs
Publication time: 1 February 2010,

The American TV station CNS (Cybercast News Service) reported with reference to the Iranian newspaper Keyhan that Zionist militants who came to Haiti from the occupied Palestine "to help earthquake victims" are actually engaged in catching children in the devastated country and killing them to cut out organs.

The Iranian newspaper reports about missing Haitian children and advises Haitians whom the "Israelis" allegedly "help" not to lose sight of their children and their body parts.

The TV channel also said that an extensive coverage of the crimes commited by the "Israelis" in Haiti could be seen on the website of the Lebanese TV station al-Manar. The report says that the real aim of "Israel's help" to Haiti was to harvest internal human organs.

The report partly uses the a black Americans' TV footage that warned Haitians not to trust Jewish "philanthropists".

Information on the activities of "Israel" in Haiti caused a wave of indignation in the Muslim world, even among Muslims most loyal to the West.

Asharq Alawsat, the largest English-language Saudi-based paper in the Arab world, writes in its issue dated January 31:

"After the Swedish journalist Donald Bostrom wrote about the "Israeli" army killing Palestinian youth in order to harvest their organs, there were other media reports about "Israelis" stealing Ukrainian children in order to harvest their organs.

Once again there are documented reports from Haiti that organs are being stolen by "Israelis" without international justice intervening to put an end to such criminal practices against innocent vulnerable people".

Crimes commited by the Jews in Haiti also caused indignation of many American Christians. A newspaper of American dissidents, The Peoples Voice, says in an article by Stephen Lendman entitled "Focus on "Israel": Harvesting Haitian Organs":

"The "Israel" Defense Forces' aid mission to Haiti left "Israel" overnight (January 14) with equipment for setting up an emergency field hospital. Around 220 soldiers and officers (were) in the delegation, including 120 medical staff (to) operate the hospital in the Haitian capital, Port-au-Prince."

On January 20, the Lebanon's Al-Manar TV reported on the mission, citing accusing You Tube video by the American journalist T. West from AfriSynergy Productions.

"The video presents something to think about while exploiting the horrible tragedy that has befallen Haiti where "Israeli" occupation soldiers are engaged in organ trafficking", the report of the Lebanese TV station says.

In November 2009, Alison Weir published an article in the Washington Report on Middle East Affairs headlined, ""Israeli" Organ Trafficking and Theft: From Moldova to Palestine." She cited an August Donald Bostrom article in Sweden's Aftonbladet suggesting that Israel illicitly removes body parts, including from Palestinians.

She stated:

"....Israeli organ harvesting - sometimes with Israeli governmental funding and the participation of high Israeli officials, prominent Israeli physicians, and Israeli ministries - have been documented for many years. Among the victims have been Palestinians."

Nancy Scheper-Hughes, a UC Professor of Medical Anthropology in Berkley who unflinchingly honest in (citing) the "Israeli" connection writes:

"Israel is at the top. IIt has tentacles reaching out worldwide. (It has) a pyramid system at work that's awesome....they have brokers everywhere, bank accounts everywhere; they've got recruiters, they've got translators, they've got travel agents who set up the visas.

They pay "the poor and the hungry to slowly dismantle their bodies" or simply take what they want from fresh corpses. Body parts are commodities, to be harvested and sold to the rich, even though organ sales are prohibited in most countries, but not in international law".

Meanwhile a Los Angeles paper, La Voz de Atzlan, in its issue dated January 29, 2010 hinted that nobody knew exactly how "Israelis" killed Haitian children before removing internal organs from their bodies and points out to possible ritual nature of these killings:

"The trafficking of children for sex and for their organs is also presently occurring in other third world countries. Mexican children are most vulnerable because Mexico shares a border with a wealthy neighbor to the north.

La Voz de Aztlan reported on the abduction of Mexican children by the USA "Organ Mafia" that operates along the US/Mexico border in clandestine clinics for the purpose of transplanting Mexican baby organs to wealthy but sick American children.

Among the worst of the "Organ Mafias" are those belonging to Zionist "Israel" and to certain Jewish cults.

Last year the FBI arrested 6 rabbis for trafficking in human organs between New York, New Jersey and Zionist "Israel". The "Rabbi Mafia" made tens of millions in human organs and laundered the money through phoney Jewish charities and synagogues.

Arrested were Rabbi Mordchai Fish, Rabbi Albert Schwartz, Rabbi Levy Izhak Rosenbaum, Rabbi Eliahu Ben Haim, Rabbi Saul Kassin, and Rabbi Edmund Nahum. Thirty eight corrupt politicians controlled by the criminal Jewish rabbis were also arrested", American newspaper wrote.

A number of American opposition media reported that a censored version of an interview with the Prime Minister of Haiti Bellerive by the CNN was placed in Internet. It confirms that Zionist militants from the gang "Israel's defense army" came to Haiti from the occupied Palestine to kill Haitian children for organs. A journalist, typical for the mainstream US media, played surprise:

- Organ trafficking, now?

- Yes, organ trafficking, now,- the Prime Minister said.

A US website, Above Top Secret, comments:

"Is anyone really shocked?

Wonder why America hasn't set up a hospital in Haiti yet and "Israeli"/Jews rushed there rather fast?

Some newspapers and lots of people are coming out and telling of Jews rushing down to Haiti to harvest organs, lots of money down their.

The Haitian PM has admitted Jews are harvesting organs now, even live children", the American opposition website says.

In their comments on the CNN video, ordinary Americans say that Zionists profit not only from organ trafficking but also from donations that TV-watching and mainstream-press-reading compassionate Westerners zombified by the zionized media send to "help earthquake victims", but in fact the money goes into the pockets of the Zionist "charity" mafia.

The mainstream US press reports the same but in a censored form. The Huffington Post writes:

On CNN on January 27 Haitian Prime Minister Jean-Max Bellerive talked to the network's Christiane Amanpour about the unsettling reality of trafficking of human organs from victims in the wake of the earthquake that struck a few weeks ago.

"A lot of organizations - they come and they say there were children on the streets," Bellerive said. "They are going to bring them to the States -- we have already reports of trafficking, even of organ trafficking."

AMANPOUR: And do you know for sure that children are being trafficked now? (dialogue censored as compared with the video - KC).

BELLERIVE: There are children trafficking for children and adult persons, also. Because they need all types of organs.

AMANPOUR: No, but I mean live children. Are they being trafficked now?

BELLERIVE: The reports I receive; yes.

Meanwhile, it is reported that the CNN accidentally filmed lots of human organ that were cut out from Haitians in the Jewish hospital in Haiti. The video footage could be seen using this link.

It is also reported that the huge international scandal forced Zionists to urgently cancel its operation for the extraction of human organs from adult Haitians and their children, at least officially.

"On Thursday, January 28, at approximately 8:40 am an El Al Boeing landed at the Ben Gurion airport coming from Port-au-Prince (Haiti). This special flight from Haiti brought 236 "Israelis" (218 soldiers and 18 civilians) back", an "Israeli" website said.

It is pathetic that you Wahabis appear to be more concerned about the Muslim image than the tragedy in Haiti. Muslims are not known for being charitable, period.

It took Saudi Arabia two weeks to commit money, after repeated exposure in the press that their "condolences" may not be enough.Brangelina so far has outdone the rest on the list. It appears that the Emir of Qatar had to look under his sofa cushions to come up with his donation. Let it rest, bad time to make an indefensible point.

Actually, every penny that America donates to any tragedy around the world comes out of Muslim coffers. Cheap Muslim oil pays for all American expenses. Besides, it is really pathetic that farts have to use the tragedy of Haiti to beat up Wahhabis.

The resident Jahil comes up with yet another nonsensical post. I don't have the patience of coaching you on the basics of a business transaction, hopefully it will suffice to say that the buyer pays for the seller's expenses, and not the other way around.

You got a lot to learn fart. When the buyer is holding a gun, like the Americans always do, the seller is the one that is paying. You are too stupid to figure that out. Look at what happened to Saddam. Loot at what happened to Iran. Now shut up and don't waste my time.
