Look, if you stood wearing just a loin cloth with one foot on the thigh of your other leg, with hands folded over your head yogi fashion and recited Allah's name, I personally would have no objection. Namaaz is obligatory. How you perform them is up to you. You can follow examples of Prophet, according to Sunni or Shia. Or you can devise your own method.
Wonderful example. We can ignore the fact that the Quran actually mentions Qiyam, ruku and sujood and the juma prayer. So who would you prefer to follow? Umayyads/Abbasids or yogi poru-swamy?

Prophet accepted Abu Sufyan and Ali honored Aisha as ummul mumineen. However, to claim that they pardoned them is stretching a bit.
The Quran says about the prophet Muhammad (saw)

21:107
And we have not sent you but as a mercy to the worlds.

Anyone can forgive a slap on the face or a $20 theft. What does it take to qualify you as worthy of being called, by none other than Allah himself - a mercy to all the worlds? Would that require you to be merciful to those who killed your relatives and ate their organs? Of course!! Nothing short of that would make you deserving of the praise that Allah has showered upon you.

So the teachings of Umayyads/Abbasids as far as the sunnah of the prophet (saw) is concerned is perfectly aligned with the Quran. However, the teachings of the shia Imam leads us to believe that the prophet (saw) was not a mercy to all the worlds as he didn't forgive Abu Sufiyan and Hind. We all know that once a person accepts Islam, all his past sins are forgiven and his slate is wiped clean (unless shia Imams teach us something different). One wouldn't expect the prophet (saw) of Islam to hold a grudge against those that have been forgiven by Allah as they accepted Islam.

So these are the teachings of the Umayyads/Abbasids about the prophet (saw)
The prophet (saw) was a mercy to all barring none as per the Quran. He forgave his worst enemies.
The prophet (saw) considered his wives, his children, his grand children and his cousin as his family and those closest to him.

And these are the teachings of the Shia Imams about the prophet (saw)
The prophet (saw) was a mercy to all except his enemies whom he didn't forgive even though he is supposed to be a mercy to all.
The prophet (saw) didn't consider his wives to be a part of his family.

We do not know if the Quran talks about Hazrat Ali as being forgiving or merciful, so I am willing to accept that Hazrat Ali may have held a grudge against Hazrat Aisha and did not forgive her.
