How low ? Well most people have no idea, but one can only imagine that any person who tries to monetize his fathers death has to be pretty low.

But when one sees an evil incident what do we do , we fix it , not expect someone will do.

The so called SKQ supporters where are they when they see such nonsense.

Just heard, SKQ camp had organised a press conference today at hotel Oberoi, but suddenly the hotel authorities refused their services. Wonder why? All fishy.

how can they do this? I mean if SKQ is willing to pay expense then how can they stop it?

Its a duty bound on every Mumin that they should do "amr bil maaroof (ordering for acknowledged virtues) and nahi anil munkar (forbidding what is wrong).

It is mentioned in Quran, "Ye are the best of peoples, evolved for mankind, enjoining what is right, forbidding what is wrong, and believing in Allah." (Sura 3-110)

In Hadees, Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri (May Allah be pleased with him) reported that the messenger (pbuh) of Allah said, "Whoever amongst you sees an evil, he must change it with his hand; if he is unable to do so, then with his tongue; and if he is unable to do so, then with his heart; and that is the weakest form of Faith". (Reported in Sahih Muslim).

Imam Sadiq [a] said: "Woe to the people who do not support the religion of Allah by enjoining good and forbidding evil." (Mustadrak Al-Wasa'il-ush-Shi'ah, vol. 12, p. 181)

Now, just think on state of Dawoodi Bohra, do you feel that all those who want to reform the community because of this duty bound on every Mumin are doing some sin? Are they Munafiqs? Who are you to call them different from Dawoodi Bohra?

I am a Muslim and Dawoodi Bohra is its sect which represents my cultural identity of Islam by birth and I don`t need anyone to register or authenticate me to be a member of Dawoodi Bohra nor anyone has right to snatch this identity from me.

Breakaway Dawoodi Bohra leaders to have a conference on Tuesday

Supporters and children of Khuzaima Qutbuddin, the self-declared new Syedna of the million strong Dawoodi Bohra community will for the first time be addressing a press gathering. The interaction will take place at the Trident Hotel. As per the press release, Khuzaima's children "Dr. Abdeali Qutbuddin and Dr. Aziz Qutbuddin will be sharing their views / plans on the 53rd Dai ul-Mutlaq."

Soon after the demise of the Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin, the 52nd Dai Ul Mutlaq of the community on January 17, there was a revolt of sorts in the community. Khuzaima Qutbuddin, the late leader's brother who until then was Mazoon, the second position to Dai, declared himself as the rightful successor. Burhanuddin, on the other hand had anointed his second son, Mufaddal Saifuddin as the new Syenda and 53rd Dai.

In a press statement after Burhanuddin's demise, the Khuzaima stated that the late Burhanuddin had performed the ceremony of succession on him in private as early as December 10, 1965.

The press statement alleged that "Mufaddal, his brothers and some other family members were took advantage of a severe debilitating stroke that had affected Syedna following his 100th birthday in London. They immediately and unilaterally made the untenable and false claim that Sydena Burhanuddin in that condition had appointed Mufaddal as his successor."

Over a month ago, dna had sent a questionnaire to Khuzaima wanting to know why the latter did not speak up or challenge the succession of Mufaddal in the presence of late Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin. In the response, while there was no direct response to the questions, a release stated "Syedna Qutbuddin in accordance with Syenda Burhanuddin's wishes, revealed that he was chosen successor immediately after Syedna Burhanuddin's sad demise."

As time passes by and I really look back into history and all the puzzles pieces fit into the place perfectly. One of the things to seriously point out here is that, on most of the estate of "dawat hadiya" SKQ is somehow on that estate and his name is there. During the past 50 years there have been several altercations between YN/SMS gang and SKQ, And SMB being the sole decision maker into those estates specially saifee mahal (note that not even a brick could be moved without SMB's direct permission, he would personally be in charge of entire saifee mahal when it came to make any alteration or construction or demo) Why did SMB not remove his name from these estate he if he was to be cut out of the picture or not be the next Dai.
Why are burhani gang members sent to all these high value estates to secure them ? What does SMS gang have to fear if its already theirs to keep ? Why all the ziafat and money collecting frenzy when the whole dawat is yours to keep (presumably).

One Mr. Swami of Trident said that they got threats from several people and 20-30 bohra people came the hotel on Monday night and started shouting abuses at the Reception staff and they had to call the police. He also said that the Anjuman Shite-e-Ali secrretary called prior to that saying that if Trident allows the press conference then they will blacklist the hotel from all future room bookings specially in Moharram. All about Money..

This is basically Gunda Raj.. Sad day..

This says alot about the Moharam tamasha done every year, so these people have tie ups with a lot of hotels and if my guess is right they get paid commission for it, hence they make this venue their avenue, as you mentioned about being blacklisted, it clears out a lot of air on how money minded and strategically they play their game.

What a shame! By doing all the above our community has become quite a laughing stock! I used to be proud to call myself a Bohra once upon a time. Now I am thoroughly embarassed to call myself one after all the drama that's taken place...... Sad, really sad!

I guess the transition from white to saffron will soon be complete.

Shiite Ali should let the press conference take place. They have nothing to be afraid of. By stopping the press conference they are only expanding evidence of their attempt to silence voices of dissent.

Another miss- step on their part.

Unwittingly, they are providing more and more evidence for SKQ claims.

I am sure behind the close doors of Saifee Mahal, they might be planning how to assassinate SKQ saheb, because he has become a deep hiccup for them, any steps he takes makes them hesitant and nervous, they want to remove this guilt for once and for all that they were the conspirators and want to manage the community the way they want.

I heard that too. It seems they could not stop it. India is a democracy and a free country you cannot take away the fundamental rights of speech and expression.. Jai Hind.

SKQ's press conference has put the issue of succession and falsehood out there. Wide coverage. Now the Shehzadas will have to pray harder.. Wonder what the proofs will show that SKQ has.
