कर्जन - हसना का मकसद उस जरूरतमंद व्यक्ति को आर्थिक मदद पंहुचाना है, जिसके पास अपनी अचानक आई जरूरत / मुसीबत के लिए कुछ भी नही है l और ये भी कि मदद करने वाला अल्लाह की राह मे मदद करता है, फिर कर्जन लेने वाला उस कर्ज को वापस नही करता है या नही कर पाता है तो ये उसका ईमान , देने वाले को इसका अजर / सवाब जरूर मिलता है l *कर्जन - हसना* देने वाला इस डर से कर्जन नही देता कि रूपये वापस नही आएंगे या गारंटी मे कुछ रकम आदि रख कर कर्जन देता है तो वह *कर्जन - हसना* नही किसी और कर्जन की परिभाषा मे आता है l

जिसके पास भरपूर सोना - चांदी - संपत्ति है वह जरूरतमंद नही हो सकता और *कर्जन - हसना* का हकदार तो बिलकुल नही हो सकता l
