Re: The Monkey Banana and Water Spray Experiment
Thankyou All.
The worst cruelty is to endure it. Let us all speak up, every time we are not treated fairly we should make it clear to amil, that he is not master of our destiny, we dont have to endure his arrogance.
Bully is only bully until you let him bully you.

Re: The Monkey Banana and Water Spray Experiment
This is a nice poem written by Nizar Kabbani, thought of sharing it with you...
.......................................
In a country where thinkers are assassinated, and writers are considered infidels and books are burnt, in societies that refuse the other, and force silence on mouths and thoughts forbidden, and to question is a sin, I must beg your pardon, would you permit me?
Would you permit me to bring up my children as I want, and not to dictate on me your whims and orders?
Would you permit me to teach my children that the religion is first to God, and not for religious leaders or scholars or people?
Would you permit me to teach my little one that religion is about good manners, good behavior, good conduct, honesty and truthfulness, before I teach her with which foot to enter the bathroom or with which hand she should eat?
Would you permit me to teach my daughter that God is about love, and she can talk to Him and ask Him anything she wants, far away from the teachings of anyone?
Would you permit me not to mention the torture of the grave to my children, who do not know about death yet
Would you permit me to teach my daughter the tenets of the religion and its culture and manners, before I force on her the Hijab (the veil)?
Would you permit me to tell my young son that hurting people and degrading them because of their nationality, colour or religion, is considered a big sin by God?
Would you permit me to tell my daughter that revising her homework and paying attention to her learning is considered by God as more useful and important than learning by heart Ayahs from the Quran without knowing their meaning?
Would you permit me to teach my son that following the footsteps of the Honorable Prophet begins with his honesty, loyalty and truthfulness, before his beard or how short his dress is?
Would you permit me to tell my daughter that her Christian friend is not an infidel, and ask her not to cry fearing her friend will go to Hell?
Would you permit me to argue, that God did not authorize anyone on earth after the Prophet to speak in his name nor did he vest any powers in anyone to issue 'deeds of forgiveness' to people?
Would you permit me to say, that God has forbidden killing the human spirit, and who kills wrongly a human being is as if he killed all human kind, and no Moslem has the right to frighten another Moslem?
Would you permit me to teach my children that God is greater, more just, and more merciful than all the (religious) scholars on earth combined? And that his standards are different from the standards of those trading the religion, and that his accountability is kinder and more merciful?
Would you permit me?

But main problem is : if you raise your voice, u will be projected as evil , which we are not..For their Own interest, local Aamil do not hesitate to connect evrything with the name of Dai and make it a religious issue..moreover say, razaa naa saaheb hi naafarmaani and blah blah sort of..how to deal with it ?accountability wrote:Thankyou All.

Re: The Monkey Banana and Water Spray Experiment
stranger,
for once, you have asked a question that we can all relate to.
to answer your query, ask the amil point blank to show you the written farmaan from syedna. if he dithers or threatens you, tell him that you will send an arzi directly to syedna asking him to clarify the amil's demands. believe me, the very next second the amil will be singing a different tune and will take a conciliatory tone. try it, i have done this several times. it works. you have to lose your fear of these goons and bullies. confront them and they will back down. now they dont mess with me any more.
the problem is the community is 99% full of meek people, they all tremble in fear at approaching the amil or committee members. treat them with respect, but consider them as ordinary people, ignore the climate of fear they have deliberately created. they use the social and religious importance of our various rites of passage like aqiqa, nikah, mayyat, misak etc to blackmail and loot the community. if they see that you are the type who will threaten them with 'either you do it for us, or i will walk out and to hell with your demands", then they will quietly acquiesce.
at the end it is your niyyat which matters, which is between you and allah. the syedna or his lackeys do not have the sole contract to represent Allah or to take you to paradise. its your own amaal and integrity which matter.

Well said AZ and it does work, Aamil never wants to confront anyone in public. Be Firm, be respectful and stand your ground and they will leave you alone....

There is point in your post..I myself a DB but i dont fear..i do not keep beared, neither i wear topi. Not because i dont want to follow our Dai farman or not coz i do not have walayat for him but because i am not ready for it and nor i thinks that this is something compulsory and certificate for your IMAAN and ISLAM..I believe as long as u carry love for Allah, prays namaz, recite Quran and have walayat for Ahlul Bayt, Imam and his Dai in your heart, this things realy dont matter. Its a thing which you should not do under force or you cant Force either, rather its something develop inside ur inner soul and from your pure neeyat.. I Cant be like ''Sab raakhe chhe, mai bhi raakhu, varna achchu nahi laagtu''.
buT preachers connect it with your love and respect for Dai and sadly an average bohra believes and draw conclusion for you, on the basis of the same.

Please dont paint everyone with the same brush especially the Ahlu bayts and Imams as there is no comparison at all with regard to the current dai. Look at the current administration and the dai's extravaganza and his lust for money and power. Do you think that the Ahle Bayts ever craved for the same ? Just compare their principles, lifestyles, humility, peity and their life which was devoted only for the cause of Islam and Allah (swt), look at the number of non-believers who embraced Islam under the able guidance of these holy souls, how many non-believers has the dai been able to convert in his era which only boasts of his travel in supersonic jets, bullet trains and luxury liners and renovating some masjids that too at his followers expense. How much did the ahle bayts charge for visiting their followers house ? How many titles did they auction ? Did they at any given time FORCE their followers to pay zakat much beyond the prescribed limit ? The issues are in abundance which you too know.
