I just spent a very interesting half hour reading exDawoodiBohras Reddit sub. It’s full of LGBTQ, drinking, tripping kids of MS followers who hate his guts…. If only the parents knew…

thats the thing, ex bohra dont even remain muslim any more because they have 0 knowledge about Islam, as soon as they leave the fold they become like this, thats why other bohra thinks its better to stay quite and stay muslim.

Not all are 'EX' over there but different types of people who are born in a Dawoodi Bohra family, and Reddit is a forum which is unlike any other! Most are from western countries and economically independent which makes them capable of escaping the clutches of the Bohra Clergy and if they are still in anyway connected to the Bohra faith is sometimes due to their parents or to keep up pretensions which we all do at some point of time! I am also following them on Reddit and don't always cater to their views!

I actually sympathize with these kids. The Mainstream Bohra culture makes it very hard to discuss things openly with one’s parents. Because the parents either go in denial mode or get very angry. Some seem to have successfully navigated their exit from Bohraism and the clutches of Mufaddal Saifuddin without going completely off the rails…

Because of fraud and cheating committed by Trustees of Anjuman, court of charity Commissioner has made our beloved Mazoon Maula (DM) an accused.

Sadly, Anjuman Trustees have neglected their duties towards MUMINEENS because of which Court of charity commissioner has FRAMED criminal charges against our beloved Mazoon Maula (DM).

i really dont know if i should take offence at Moiz Dhaanu for posting something like this or should i laugh at it

i know its sad, the analogy drawn between mourning over the shahadat of Imam Hussain AS and chickens, but then again... there is a large kernel of truth... we are becoming a community of headless chickens

I am now confused what did Orthodox Bohra celebrate recently as 2 days ago and with so much fanfare?

111th birthday of the 52nd Diai who has passed away, his death anniversary, 53rd Diai whose birthday is in Ramazan but he celebrates it twice and in this monthalso, the 53rds rise to power what's the cause of celebration, is it his achievements. Is is combination of all. If not is it a political ploy to kind of drug the masses with festivals to increase popularity?

All this in so much grandeur than celebrating it more cheerful than the founder of Islam Prophet SAW birthday, For serious sake even grandeur celebration than Eids. I scan other religions or community groups I see no where such level of celebration for a previous Holiness.
