Muffaddal should have engaged the couple so that they can know each other more, but as usual jack ass tried to be smart and made nikah aqad, now only ALLAH will take care of further.

Bohras recite this bayan very often where Prophet married a young man to a woman of his choice, riwayat is long but i didnt find it very amusing how people have compared Mufaddal saheb doing the same as Prophet.

Engagement is an unislamc practise...once a boy and girl are ready to accept the marriage in a short but reasonable time they need to perform nikah to avoid zinnah.
