what happens when you die

The one and only free public forum for Bohras. The focus of this forum is the reform movement, the Dawoodi Bohra faith and, of course, the corrupt priesthood. But the discussion is in no way restricted to the Bohras alone.

Actually you perform Salah in which you recite verses of Qur'an and Duas.

Brother MF:

You are right, we dont read namaz, neither do we perform namaz. or can we perform it. Tahir's take of recite, somehow goes, but again, How will you translate Eeqam us salat. In arabic, if you ask anyone to go ......... namaz, you will say rooh salat, salat is used as a verb.

MY friend, If I try again to debate, what does Qimus salat means, You all will come after me and hound me, name me kafir, etc etc

accty,

Nobody calls you a kafir for asking what iqamas salaat means. I called you a kafir because you say it is not necessary to pray as the prophet prayed. That would qualify you as a kafir, unless of course you actually pray as the prophet did and still think it is not neccessary. That would then, qualify you as a hypocrite.

Iqamas salaat means the perfect prayer. That would be the prayer as taught by the prophet. And that includes every method taught by the prophet whether it is hands on the side or hands folded.

seeker,

If you had replayed it for more than a couple of weeks, maybe even you could've learned something.
