Tagging like Facebook

Can tagging feature as is available in Facebook implemented on the Forum. when a user wants to name some forum member in the post he can write for example @SBM and br. SBM will receive an alert that he has been mentioned or tagged in a post. This will help in better communication as many a times good posts go unnoticed in other trivial posts or nic nacs.

This was on my mind as well...so many posts get lost and conversations derailed....would be a good idea provided there is no direct connection with the members name/email address and privacy is maintained while introducing this new feature.

Unfortunately, there is no tagging feature for now, but there is a way to subscribe to a topic or get notification if there is a reply to your post, See for options at the bottom of the page.
