I saw the movie PK and found it to be just hilarious. It is an incisive topic and if heads of various religions and sects feel threatened then the movie has hit its target. The movie PK follows Oh My God and there will be many more. All they do
is expose what is obvious. What with 'ghar wapasi', 'Godse as a patriot', 'Gita as a national scripture', etc. the kichdo is getting more complex for India. Would Bohras be spared forcible conversion because SMS is hand-in-glove with Modi?

you cry for 21$ seriously? we cant even buy two potato chip packets with those 21$. dont try to create sensationalism when there is nothing serious. if it was 2100 then it might be a news.

This is a great news, it will be great to have villa in Dubai, where is the location? is it just for Dubai residents?

The Golak is massive in size. The one shown in PK is of no comparison to it. They have created a bridge to enter the roza and the height of the Golak is from the floor level of the sehan to above this Golak. My guess would be that it is easily 20'X8'X2'

I tried peeping into it but the level of the donations was just touching the ground - either they are clearing it every day or they haven't received enough as yet.

My guess is that since ziarat is allowed 24x7, they wouldn't want to open the 'khazana' in front of the aam mumins.

The Golak has 2” wide continuous slot for easily depositing a bundle of 100 Rupees bills. Now Bohras do not have to hustle reaching the Golak; it is right there. It is win-win for Kothar. You may wonder how they would remove offering. It has a door at the end, wherein someone can enter with a bag and remove the offerings.

The community is put on steroids. These drugs have a wonderful pharmaceutical property to subdue pain (poverty want desire), and induce momentary strength and euphoria. But it's constant use debilitates one to a slow death. It can be potently used temporarily to put one on track for a good cause. But in our case it has other personal ulterior objects. So total doom is inevitable.

Given the increased attention (especially negative) mainline bohra community is getting due to the split issues over the last 1 year, and in which bohras have been shown to be regressive (eg, girl education fatwas etc), our community needs a new and fresh PR and hence all this to lay the claim of being the rightful followers. I guess, the Kotharis fear that any vacuum or gap left would be taken by the representatives on the other side of the divide!
