Will Islam’s in-group loyalty gain it the world?

Will the West’s thinking that diversity is strength end in that lesser in-group loyalty destroying modern Western countries?

I ask this because of some of the thinking you will hear below from the German experience as well as a more general talk on diversity, tolerance and the difficulties of assimilation/integration. Also a British view.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m2vgLipteEI

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VTROCGb5qj8

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xQcSvBsU-FM

These issues might be timely to think about because of the intolerance that many Western countries seem to be going towards thanks to the heavy immigration that is presently assaulting the world. Trump seems to be trying to ride that right leaning wave and seems to have amassed quite a following, regardless of his more red neck views and attitude.

In Canada and the U.S., we have yet to assimilation/integration our native populations even after all of this time since colonization of their lands and have them basically in reservation/ghettoes. Europe seems to be creating ghettoes for their new migrants.

Islam, thanks to their in-group loyalty and zeal for political dominance of Sharia law, are creating a two tiered legal system in Britain where Sharia courts are allowed. Could that tolerance and in-group softness be encouraging Islam to see themselves as winning Britain over to Sharia law and caliphate as it is in Germany?

I have lived my life in the liberal left leaning side of politics. Because I recognize that Islam’s ideology is incompatible with the Western ideology which promotes freedom of speech as compared to Islam which does not allow it, I have been slowly moving to the conservative right.

Will Islam’s stronger in-group and intolerant attitudes eventually win out against the Western notion that diversity is a strength, --- given that the stronger in-group loyalty of any nation seems to win out against the more tolerant and weaker in-group loyalty of host nations?

Rajasthan doctor gets notice for advising patients to follow Islam

We all fall ill at various points of time in our life. Some prefer to wait for their immune system to take care of it, whereas some prefer to get immediate medication. Whatever it is, people do visit doctors. But think of it this way. You have a cold, you visit a doctor in your vicinity thinking he will give you prescriptions to get some antibiotics. But instead, he hands you a prescription that you should start following ISLAM to cure your cold.

Does it sound too much ??

Well, it might sound way too much but this is the level to what missionaries have stooped to. In what can be called as a bizarre blend of medical science and religious faith, a senior doctor at a dispensary of Mukta Prasad in Bikaner, advised his patients to practice islam in order to cure themselves of their diseases.

The doctors, Jameema Hayat has been warned by the Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO) again and again after numerous complaints of conversion against him. The CMHO Dr. Devendra Choudhary who is also a friend of Jameema Hayat said that they have been receiving complaints against him again and again for a long time now and he has been getting numerous warnings to stop this, but she refuses to do so.

Our question is WHY?
Why a doctor needs to prescribe me to convert to ISLAM instead of medicines until and unless she is getting paid like every other salesman is.

Since it is a sensitive issue, even the PMO, which came to know about it through a complaint on its portal has ordered an investigation into it. We shall wait for the investigation to get over and we do wish that the licenses of such doctors are to be revoked and their practice should be stopped.

If you still think that this is a petty issue and the license of the doctor should not be cancelled than consider this:
One of the patient was an eight year old girl who was suffereing from a heart stroke and the doctor recommended his father Mr. Manish Singhal to stop giving her a medical treatment and get her converted to Islam.
If this were not enough, she also tried to explain to him that Islam would solve all the troubles of his family and friends.

In an interview to the daily newspaper Hindustan Times, Singhal said, “After a formal checkup, Hayat started reciting Islamic quotations while his daughter was running a fever and was restless. I took my daughter to another doctor and got her treated.”

Also adding to it is the fact that Hayat has been transferred frequently in her career so far because of such complaints of religious conversions against her.

Initially she was posted at the district hospital in Bikaner. But after a number of complaints of religious conversions against her, the department decided to transfer her to a community health center in the district’s sub division Sridungarah. And again she is put on an awaiting posting order due to such kinds of complaints against her.

Not only this, we also came to know that her two elder brothers are famous medical practitioners and we would like to request the government to also form an investigation against them. And if required take a strict action against the family and penalize them for their activity as well.

Delhi homeowners shut doors on Muslim tenants: UN varsity study

FROM BOLLYWOOD actors not finding apartments in Mumbai over the years to the latest civil services entrant, who took on a Hindu surname to find accommodation in Pune, there have been a number of stories about Muslims finding it difficult to rent houses.

Now, a full-fledged study stands testimony to this discrimination — in the national capital.

Released last week by the Helsinki-based United Nations University World Institute for Development Economics Research (UNU-WIDER), the study confirms that Muslim applicants find it more difficult than their counterparts to rent a house in Delhi, Gurgaon and Noida.

Based on a survey conducted on a house-renting portal, the study states: “A Muslim applicant must respond to 45 listings to receive 10 landlord callbacks, while an Upper Caste (Hindu) applicant must respond to only 28.6 listings to receive the same number.” In other words, Muslims have to apply to 60 per cent more houses than upper-caste Hindus.

“While the probability of a landlord responding to the Upper Caste applicant is 0.3, the corresponding probability is 0.22 for Muslim applicants,” it states.

In contrast, the study could not find statistically significant evidence of bias against those from Scheduled Castes or other backward classes.

The study found that a Muslim applicant needs to send about 21 “expressions of interest” to get 10 callbacks, whereas an upper-caste candidate would need to send only 12 applications. Besides, the study states: “Landlords wait about 6.5 hours longer before calling a Muslim applicant than they do for an Upper Caste candidate.”

It also reveals that landlords offering one-bedroom properties are particularly reluctant to respond to Muslim applicants. Since male applicants for one-bedroom properties are commonly perceived to be single, this suggests that “single Muslim men may be finding it especially challenging to find suitable housing in Delhi and its suburbs”.

The study was carried out over two months in the summer of 2015, using one of India’s most popular online housing search platforms. It was co-authored by Saugato Datta and Vikram Pathania and published by UNU-WIDER under the title ‘For whom does the phone (not) ring? Discrimination in the rental housing market in Delhi, India’.

Datta has worked as a researcher for the World Bank and has a PhD in Economics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is currently a managing director at US-based ideas42.

Pathania is a senior lecturer in Economics at University of Sussex, UK. He has worked in the World Bank and WHO, and has a PhD from University of California, Berkeley.

Delhi, Gurgaon and Noida was the chosen geographical area and four social categories — upper caste Hindu, Muslim, scheduled castes and other backward classes — were analysed. A total of 171 apartments were sent 681 online queries, while calls were received on SIM cards procured for the study.

The authors say that while landlords have been clearly able to identify Muslims, they may not have been certain about identities of SCs from their names. Further, they say, landlords may be more comfortable in discriminating online than they would be in person.

Also, dietary preferences are often cited as a major reason to discriminate, with upper-caste vegetarian landlords preferring vegetarian tenants, the authors note.

In an emailed response to The Indian Express, co-author Datta wrote: “This work shows that we are dealing with a genuine problem. Perhaps, regular tracking and research is required so that this kind of discrimination can be measured across space and time. This is done in the US in order to identify the extent to which other measures are taken.

“Beyond that, there needs to be social change. An awareness that this is a problem would be helpful so that there is a clear legal framework around these issues. We hope that research such as this can help set the stage for further steps to be thought through.”

The above is a half chaddi propaganda Islam and Muslim hate site. No wonder our resident half chaddi (or bikini) posts articles from there. I wouldn't believe anything they say. If this were really true, the doctor would've been fired a long time ago and not transferred "again and again".

The Jehovah Witnesses in the West, in the past, have allowed some to die for want of a blood transfusion.

Any theist of any religion, in my view, who promotes prayer over medical help should ne held accountable for any death or hardship that comes from the denial of medical help.

Thanks for that but I did not see anything that makes my statement out of line.

Do you think those who deny people medical care and they die or suffer off the hook?
