while we bohris would be celebrating eating and drinking, Imam Hussain has been on the road for about two weeks heading towards Kerbala. He left his home town Medina during haj , broke the rituals of haj and with all his family has been traveling towards kerbala. Just a thought for all those" switch on crying and switch off crying".

How ungentlemanly of us (me, included) that our focus on the 'ramcho' in Dar-es-Salaam has blinded us so much that we forgot to welcome and wish ourselves the new year 1438. Our prayers and plea to Allah Karim for truth and justice to prevail and freedom from enslavement and shirq. May this year and the coming many years bring good health and love among us and unite us in our efforts to fight injustice everywhere.
