There is avery interesting article about Islam. Just an extract from it:<p>Until recently, people in this country have been shielded from this reality. The reaction of a minority of British Muslims to The Satanic Verses was a reminder of the intolerance at the heart of some types of Islam, but even then some misguided liberals chose not to heed the warning provided by the spectacle of burning books. At the same time, the nasty Wahhabi regimes in Saudi Arabia and Afghanistan were far enough away for most Europeans and Americans to ignore them, or dismiss them as those countries’ own business.
