For reference and from my understanding, Shia Imami Ismaili Muslims (Druzes, Mustaalis, Nizaris, etc.) believe in and practice the following regardless of how they may interpret them; whether be it esoterically or exoterically or both:
Salat (prayer)
Saum (fasting)
Zakat (annual tax on net wealth)
Jihad (holy war in defence of faith
Hajj (pilgrimage to Mecca)
Walayat (love to the prophet and his family ahl-al-bayt)
Taharah (physical and spiritual cleanliness)
>>>
Daaim means pillars. Thus Daaim al-Islam means pillars of Islam. As far as Sunni Muslims are concerned there are five pillars of Islam i.e. Salat (prayer), Saum (fasting), Zakat (annual tax on net wealth), Jihad (holy war in defence of faith), and Haj (pilgrimage to Mecca). However, the Isma’ilis believe that there are seven pillars, not five. They have accepted all five and add two more i.e. Walayat (love to the prophet and his family ahl-al-bayt) and Taharah (physical and spiritual cleanliness).
Ref: http://www.dawoodi-bohras.com/chronicle/mar98/index.htm
