Infallibility and Abu Bakr

Below is my humble opinion about the infallibility of the Imams and the DAIs.
What did Abu Bakr do? Why is he cursed by the Shias? And where does the question of the infallibility of the Imams and the DAIs(when the Imam is in seclusion) comes in this debate?
Actually what Abu Bakr did was exactly that. He doubted the infallibility of the prophet. It was not that he did not love the
prophet. Or he was not learned and an aalim amongst all the Sahaba. But he believed that once, just once, the prophet had
made a mistake. The mistake he thought was to nominate Ali over himself. In his arrogance over the excellence of his
knowledge, he believed that he should have been the chosen one. This is akin to the arrogance of Satan, when he believed
that GOD had made a mistake(again questioning the infallibility) in choosing Adam over himself.
