What the US economy needs right now is more Mark Zuckerbergs--more people willing to follow their passions, forgo convention, and make things that are insanely great. What we don't need are "final" clubs and aristocracy.
What the author fails to mention (and this is just my opinion without scientific evidence) is that although facebook has made billions of dollars for a few, it has resulted in the loss trillions of dollars worth of time with people wasting it on facebook.
