Rajesh Khanna, the original superstar of hindi cinema died at the age of 69. He breathed his last in his home 'Aashirwad' at Carter Road, Bandra, Mumbai. Few may be aware that this sprawling bungalow was once owned by a DAWOODI BOHRA family who originally sold it to actor Rajendra Kumar who was popularly known as 'Jubilee Kumar' as most of his films had a jubilee run in cinemas. Rajendra Kumar at that time had named this bungalow as 'Dimple'. Needless to say that this property is worth a few hundred crores as per present market rate but alas the Bohra family couldnt retain the same !!

There are scores of other properties in plush localities in the city of Mumbai and even in Surat which the bohras lost mostly to Jains and Gujaratis.
