Are the precautions (dua, sadka, namaz) that are advised for pregnant women are due to fact or is it myth/superstition ?

dont know about bohras, but I got this message from shia community.

Solar Eclipse - Salaatul Ayaat is compulsory
Tuesday29th April 2014 there will be a Solar Eclipse accross most of Australia. In Melbourne, Partial Eclipse will begin at 3:59pm, maximum Eclipse will be at 5:07pm and Eclipse will end at 6:09pm. Salaat-ul-Ayaat is Compulsory during the time of the eclipse and if missed can be prayed as Qaza.
Namaz Ayaat by jammat will be recited at Panjtan Imambargah at 5:30pm
Methods of Salaat-ul-Ayaat
Rules regarding Salaat-ul-Ayaat:
•The Prayer is obligatory even if the moon or the sun is partially eclipsed, whether they cause any fear or not.
•Salaat-ul-Ayaat consists of two Rak’ats, and there are 5 Rukoo’ in each.
Make intention for Salaat-ul-Ayaat and say Takbir (Allahu Akbar) and recite:
•1st Rak’at: Surah al-Hamd & Surah al-Ikhlas (for example) then go to Rukoo’, then stand up and recite Surah al-Hamd & Surah al-Ikhlas again and go to Rukoo’ until you repeat this five times. After the fifth Rukoo’ stand up and go for Sujood.
•2nd Rak’at: Surah al-Hamd & Surah al-Ikhlas then Rukoo’, then again Surah al-Hamd & Surah al-Ikhlas, then Rukoo’. Do this five times the same as the first Rak’at and then after the fifth Rukoo’ stand up and go for Sojood and Tashahud and Salaam.
