Meat makes you immoral, says textbook

Non-vegetarians beware! “Your food causes you to easily cheat, tell lies, forget promises, be dishonest, steal and commit sex crimes”, according to a Class VI book titled ‘New Healthway: Health, Hygiene, Physiology, Safety, Sex Education, Games and Exercises’ brought out by S. Chand publishers who print textbooks for several hundred schools in the country.

That is not all. The book (on page 56) further says “it is the waste products which largely produce the flavour of meat”.

Union Minister for Human Resource Development M.M. Pallam Raju called the text in the book “unfortunate and an occasional aberration”.

Tihar Jail spokesperson Sunil Gupta said: “We serve only vegetarian food to the inmates as we believe that non-vegetarian food does have a negative impact on the psyche of the individual.”

Seconding the belief that non-vegetarian food produces two very strong negative reactions “anger/fear”, socio-spiritual educational institution Brahma Kumaris national co-ordinator B.K. Sushant said: “We believe that killing an animal releases toxic hormones and that gets into human beings, which further creates a negative impact on his moral, mental and physical well being.”

Rubbishing the statement, former warden at Ramjas College Professor Tanvir Aeijab said: “The debate is never-ending. We cater to students from all over the country who come here from various cultures. Food is more about the region that you come from and the food habits that have been passed on for generations. Food doesn’t dictate your moral fibre. We have catered to thousands of children and found no difference in vegetarians or non-vegetarians.”

Salaam,

We all must believe in the fact that Science is the subset of Religion and not the vice versa. Scientific researches carried out in any fields are subject to changes with the passing time. But the religious principles stands strong and are not affected by the passing time. Hence one thing which was proved to be harmful to us has been proved to be useful to us in the recent times. Let us not blame the Non Veg food in general but we must take into consideration as to which food??

Pork which is forbidden in Islaam does cause negative changes in the behaviour. Disloyalty is one of its expression. Sexual Misbehaviour or Sexual deviation from the normal is the second one which is widely prevalent in the West. Also the way we eat the do Zabeehat is of utmost importance. The meat of Zabeehat does not contain any impurities of the blood as all of it drained out from the body.

There is actually a new religious principle introduced amongst the Alavi Bohras. Pay Rs 25,000 to the Dai before going to Haj. Those that are going through the Haj committee will have to pay a little less as they are considered to be less lootable. This is one religious principle that will not be affected by the passing time. The amount will only increase year by year!!
