How to calculate zakat as per dawoodi bohra? and as per other sects? if there is difference.

Ithna Asheri pays in the name of 'Zakat' and Khums (for Imam) but money ends up with marza's / ayatulla's who are not answerable to common Ithna'ites. Is common Ithna Asheri are like common Abdes?

why are you disturbing the peace of the kothari mafia?

the word zakat has been wiped out from the bohra dictionary since last 3 decades. all we have now is wajebaat which is abritarily fixed at the discretion of the dai's hired muscle in every town. if you insist on calculating and giving zakat, we have to declare you as a non-bohra, as you have disobeyed the dai and baraat must be declared against you!

I was deliberately not answering to your posts bc i dnt wanna derail the topic by unnecessary posts.

First of all you are no one to tell who is Muslim and who is not, only Allah SWT knows who is on the right path.

I am a born Dawoodi Bohra but on majority of the beliefs i strongly disagree with DBs but I try hard to not mock their beliefs and I try to debate with hikmat thats wht Quran teaches and it is a very effective way to debate.

Surah: 49 Al-Hujuraat Verse:11

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Meriful.

O you who have believed, let not a people ridicule [another] people; perhaps they may be better than them; nor let women ridicule [other] women; perhaps they may be better than them. And do not insult one another and do not call each other by [offensive] nicknames. Wretched is the name of disobedience after [one's] faith. And whoever does not repent - then it is those who are the wrongdoers.

And I would again say in my opinion a good muslim is a blessing to his/her society.

Don't make anyone's life harder, try to make everyone's life easier without any prejudice. After all, all will get rewards or punishment on the judgement day.

you first have to make up your mind once and for all whether you want to be a muslim or a dawoodi abde bohra? you cannot be both as they are contradictory to each other.

we are no one to define who is a muslim and who is not. as you have rightly mentioned, the quran and the prophet's life are the primary sources. but the very nature of your question, asking about how to calculate zakat, while being a bohra, makes you a non-bohra! there is no word called zakat in the bohra dictionary anymore.

so if you believe you are a muslim, then please do ask, but if you want to remain a bohra, your question is futile and useless. so either you calm down and reflect as a muslim or genuflect as an abde bohra. the choice is yours.
