Re: A MUST SEE
Interesting site but obviously very biased. I have no problem with that since each side must be able to present its views. However, I would like to ask the regular visitors to this site if this site has reported Muslim on Muslim biases and crimes, which would make this site credible. For example:
French Editor Jailed For “Questioning” Holocaust
Death threat issued for Salman Rusdie for his interpretation of the Quran
Iraqis Complain Of Medicine Shortage
Shite Iraqis complain of Mass Graves and gassing of fellow Muslims
2 Soldiers Killed, U.S. Firm Gets Iraq Army Train Contract
UAE citizens get free partnerships from fellow Asian Muslims for doing nothing
Saudi Royal Family issues Hajj visas only for those Muslims in the West, who reserve rooms at overpriced hotels owned by the Royal Family
Should Iraqis Take the Occupation A Fait Accompli?
Should Iraqis take suppression, gassing and murder of fellow Muslims A Fait Accompli ?
U.N. Watchdog Insists Iraq Free From Nuke Program
UN Watchdog confirms that at least 3000 Kurdish Muslims are gassed by Iraq, and 30,000+ buried in mass graves
U.S. Punishes People With Power, Water Cut-Offs: Iraqis
Saudis stone to death women accused of adultery
Saudis let young women burn to death for not very proper clothes
Great site, I am sure they have addressed these issues, and in all fairness to the site, I have not researched their archives.
...but surely they report them as well for their concern of fellow Muslims...

Re: A MUST SEE
Oh so now I see, the entire world wants to follow in the footsteps of the few bad muslims around. Sure saddam gassed a few thousand Iraqis, so now the US can do the same. No wonder they will be in the same place as Saddam is.
":Saudi Royal Family issues Hajj visas only for those Muslims in the West, who reserve rooms at overpriced hotels owned by the Royal Family " Bullshit. Lie.
"Saudis stone to death women accused of adultery
Saudis let young women burn to death for not very proper clothes " so not it is ok for US to do what it is doing. But hey US threw the bomb in Japan and killed 140,000 people. So can Iran do the same to the US?
And these are the people who talk about fairness. White A.. Lickers

"Saudis stone to death women accused of adultery."
That is the law of the land you idiot. Do not commit adultery and you won't get stoned. Or come to the US and commit as much adultery as you like. The family members of some are ready to give one a turn on.
"French Editor Jailed For “Questioning” Holocaust"
"Death threat issued for Salman Rusdie for his interpretation of the Quran" And I bet most Muslims consider the first one to be wrong and the second point to be right. So your point is??

.
This is from " a Guide to Prayer in Islam" by M. Abdul Karim Saqib
Making Intention for WADU (Niyat)
Before starting the actions of Wadu it is necessary to make Niyat. Make Niyat that the act of Wadu is for the purpose of purity only. Niyat should be made in the heart bacause it is an action of heart and not of tongue.
Niyat by words is not approved by Prophet SAW.
Then say
BISMILLAH HIR RAHMAN NIR RAHIM,
And start Wadu
Dua after Wadu
Ash Hadu an la ilaha illal lahu wah dahu la shareeka lahu
Wa sah hadu anna Muhammad Abduhu wa rasuluhu (Muslim)
Allah hum maj'alnee minat tawwabeen, waj'alnee nimal mutatah-hireen
(Titmizi)
Meaning:
I testify theat there is no deity except Allah alone. And I testify that Muhammad SAW is his servent and messenger.
O Allah make me among thode who are penitent and make me among theose who are purifed.

Re: A MUST SEE
My understanding of Bohra wudu is that it must incorporate the three elements of faith (imaan) as enunciated by Imam Jaafar al-Saadiq.
Imam said: "al-imaan, kawl bi al-lisaan, wa tasdeeq bi al-janaan, wa amal bi al-arkaan"
Faith is (demonstrated) through speaking (by tongue), through purity of heart, and through actions appropriate to all parts of the physical human body, (including the rational faculty of the brain)
So, wudu starts with purity of heart and intention, followed by niyyat (intention) spoken through tongue. This in turn is followed by ritual washing of several body parts in a set order (tarteeb). A dua appropriate to the body part is recited while washing that part.
Imam's saying is also applicable to namaaz, where niyyat is spoken, silently or not.
Sunnis do not have words for niyyat. Theirs is a 'silent' niyyat.

Yeah, exactly you ignorant bedoiun Arab worshipping moron. Get a secular education before you tackle such questions.
Saudis let young women burn to death for not very proper clothes " so not it is ok for US to do what it is doing. What does this have to do with the US, please ask your madrasa teacher..
But hey US threw the bomb in Japan and killed 140,000 people. So can Iran do the same to the US? Yo' einstein, again, don't attempt to tackle such issues. When the US attacks Iran, unprovoked, with kamikaze pilots, Iran can chose to retaliate. Until then they should concentrate on attempting democracy as Iranian citizens want.
That is the law of the land you idiot. Do not commit adultery and you won't get stoned. The fact that it is the law is what is asinine, Einstein. Get it ?
Or come to the US and commit as much adultery as you like. Or go the Saudi Arabia and marry 15 times (only 4 at a time of course) and have 22 kids and leave them unsupported with their mom, who incedentally can't drive or work and can go to school but can't get out when there is a fire.
Muslims consider the first one to be wrong and the second point to be right. So your point is?? That is exactly my point...
...you just won't get it !

In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful All thanks and praise are due to Allah and peace and blessings be upon His Messenger.
Dearest Quresh!
May Allah bless you for seeking the knowledge of your deen and trying to get clear guidance in the matters of Islam. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, gives glad tidings to any person who seeks true knowledge that Allah, subhanahu wa ta`ala, will give him a way leading to Paradise.
Coming to your question, it should be stressed, before all, that Islam urges Muslims to be clean and pure. This cleanliness includes the purity of heart, body and tongue. In the purity of tongue, Islam teaches every Muslim to keep on supplications and remembrance of Allah so that he is kept from Shaytaan and from his whispering.
On the issue of making Du`aa (supplication) while performing wudu', it should be noted that all the traditions mentioned in this regard are weak. It is authentically narrated that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, made Du`aa after making wudu' . however, during making wudu', nothing authentic is reported.
Dr. Hossam Ad-Din Affanah, professor of Fiqh and its Principles at Jerusalem University, Palestine, states:
"The supplication that are said while making waduu' are many and mentioned in some books of Fiqh. It is written that while washing the face, a Muslim says: "O Allah! Whiten my face on the Day when faces will be whitened and others stamped black." Upon washing, the right hand, a Muslim says: "O Allah! Enable me take my Book with my right hand and make my reckoning an easy one." While washing the left hand, a person says: "O Allah! Give me not my book from my left hand side or from behind." While wiping over the head, the following supplication: "O Allah! Forbid the Hellfire from touching my hair and my body." On wiping the ears, "O Allah! Make me of those who listen to a saying and follow the best of it." And when washing the feet: "O Allah! Make me stand firm on the Path on the day when feet will slip."
In his Ihyaa' (Revival of Religious Knowledge), Imam Abu Hamed Al-Ghazaly wrote:
After mentioning the Name of Allah at the beginning, a person says: "O Allah! I seek refuge in You from the whispers of the demons and from them to be around." And upon gargling his mouth, he says: "O Allah! Help me recite Your Book frequently and remember You continuously."
However, such supplications are not authentic. Imam Al-Nawawi says: 'As for the supplications during wadu', nothing has been authentically reported fro the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him.'
In his Book Zaadul-Ma`aad (Provision of the Heafter), Imam Ibn Al-Qayyem, wrote: "Nothing has been reported from the Prophet, peace be upon him, as being said while doing wadu' except mentioning the Name of Allah at the beginning and saying: "I bear testimony that there is no god but Allah, He is One and has no partner and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. O Allah! Make me of those who show repentance and those who stick to purity.""
Some late scholars say that these traditions are weak and the weak ahadith can be taken into account in doing good deeds. However, this saying can be nullified by saying that these traditions include liars and fabricators in their chain of narrators as explained by Imam As-Sayuti."
It is clear then, that nothing is authentic regarding the supplications during performing wudu'.
As for the other point of saying: "Peace be unto you." at the end of the prayer, we do that as a sign of ending the prayer. When performing our prayer, we are at the presence of Allah and upon ending it, we do go and engage in our daily affairs. So it requires that greeting as an end of our prayer.
We hope this answers your question. If you have any more questions, do not hesitate to get back to us!
Almighty Allah knows best.

I asked same question to a scholer at our center regarding Salaams at the end of Salah.
His answer was similar.
He said you enter prayers or so called contact with Allah with 'Allahu-Akbar' and end with Salaam.

I remember being told in my childhood that, in congregational prayer, salaam after the prayer is to greet your fellow musalleen. If you pray alone, your salaams are acknowledged by angels.

Re: A MUST SEE
When taking "niyyat", you are actually pledging to GOD Almighty for your own resolutions, NOT for/to GOD but for/to their IDOL ('stone house' - Kaaba) whom the entire Muslim world have set up to worship. Not only that, many are performing extra prayers for their traditionalized idols.
On the contrary, imagine facing, bowing and prostrating towards an alleged "GOD'S HOUSE" while taking "niyyat" to perform two rakahs for their Dais or Syedenas. And when they get to perform Hajj, they not only run around the "stone house" anti-clockwise but also implore and exalt other human beings as well along the lines such as Muhammad, Hussain, Ali, Abbas, Jaffer, Burhanuddin, Daddy, Mummy, etc. etc. Praying for/to GOD Alone is no where to be found.
"Muslims of today" are the worst enemies of GOD on the face of this earth.

and protect me from the chains and the manacles of a burning thirst
O, mighty. O, powerful
Dua while washing the right arm
Allahumma, a'ati-ni kitaabi bi-yamini
wa la tu'ati-hi bi yasaari
Allah almighty, give my book to me in my right (hand)
and do not give it in my left (hand)
Dua while washing the left arm
Allahumma, la tu'ati-ni kitaabi bi shimaali
wa la min waraaiz zahri
Allah almighty, do not give my book to me in my left hand
nor from behind my back
Dua while washing the head
Allahumma, ghasshi-ni
bi rahmati-ka min rahmatik
Allah, almighty, mercifully envelope me with your mercy (lit.cover me with your mercy from your mercy)
Dua while washing the ears
Wa asmi'ani munadiya jannati-ka fi jannati-ka
And make me hear the caller of your paradise to paradise
Dua while washing the neck
Allahumma, a'atiq raqabati min an-naaari
wa-hfazni min as-salasili wa al-aghlaali
ua azizu, ya jabbaru
Allah almighty, free my neck from fire
and protect me from the chains and the manacles of a burning thirst
O, mighty. O, powerful

Dua while washing the feet
Allahumma, thabbit qadamayya ala seeratikal mustaqeemi
yawma tu-thabbitu aqdaamal mumineena
wa tu-zillu aqdaamal a'adaai-ka al-mujrimeen
Allah almighty, hold my feet firmly established on the straight path towards you
when you hold firm the feet of the faithful
and when you let slip the feet of your sinful enemies
Dua for completing the wudu
subhaanaka, allahumma
wa bi-hamdika
la ilaha illa anta
astaghfiruka, ya rabbi
wa atoobu ilayka
allahuma-jalni min at-tawwaabeen
wa-jalni min al-mutatah'hireen
wa-ghfirli warhamni, ya arham ar-raahimeen
allahumma kama tah'hartani bil maai
fa ta-tah'hirni min adh-dhunoobi
Glory be to you, Allah almighty
And praise be to you
there is no god except you
forgive me, o my lord
and I turn in repententance to you
Allah almighty, include me among those who repented
and include me among those who have been made pure
and forgive me, have mercy on me, O most merciful.
Allah almighty, just as you purify me with water,
So, purify me from my sins
