Eid Mubarak

The one and only free public forum for Bohras. The focus of this forum is the reform movement, the Dawoodi Bohra faith and, of course, the corrupt priesthood. But the discussion is in no way restricted to the Bohras alone.

Eid for bohras should be like the celebration of Jubilee - which the ancients marked as a time for rejoicing when slaves were freed and debts were cancelled.

Here’s hoping for that kid...

Eid Mubarak to everyone.

I hope you all understand that Haqiqi (real) Eid for a mumin is the Deedar of our beloved Moula, Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin Saheb TUS.

May Allah grant him a very long and healthy life. Aameen.

Eid Mubarak to you all.

All Idol worshipper go and do darshan of their demigods. Brain Washed Bohras are no different.

Another Gem from Mumin First. Read up on how prophet SAW celebrated eid rather then introducing another Bidda.

Wasalaam.

Muslim First

If Mumin thinks that is the correct way to celebrate Eid, then so be it. Why are you so bent upon interfering in the rituals and beleifs of the Bohras. Are you some sort of "thekedar" (caretaker) of the religion. If you are doing things the way you believe is correct then good for you and continue to do so.

I have never understood your interest in the Bohra practices especially if you are not one. Unless you have other motives. There are many sects in Islam and all different. Do you go and poke your nose in all of their affairs ? Or are you are by nature a "nosy poker" ?

Enjoy your life, your practices and let others do what they want to do.

Forget his old man's way follow Prophet Muhammed (pbuh). Our original source is Prophet Muhammed. In between if someone introduce something new knowingly or unknowingly we call it as religion.

This apply to all sects shias, suunis, bohra, ismaili, wahabi .......

We are doing a serious mistake by connecting ourself to these groups.
