Janab Abdeali bhai saheb Shujauddin has informed, and instructed that Aqa Moula TUS istiqbal function will be held after Maghrib and Isha namaz at Mohammedi Masjid Complex. Khushi nu jaman will be served after istiqbal function, all mumineen, muminaat, and farzando are cordially given izan. No one has raza to go to the airport. All mumineen should come to the masjid complex for Aqa Moula TUS istiqbal.
Mumineen should come to masjid before Maghrib so that they can be seated properly before Aqa Moula TUS arrival.
Allah Taala Aqa Moula TUS ni Umre Shareef ta roz-e-qayamat daraz kare. Ameen!

Come on, Malekul ashtar bs is no Maula and arrives at Houston airport every 2 weeks.. So only a few handful of jamaat higher ups, few shaikhs n adna abdes who like to be in his good books come to the airport! But that would not be the case when SMS arrives. Hence the diktat... Why I have to explain everything in detail!

According to them even though Flocks of people have already signed up and booked area hotels in Houston which are filled up - it's not enough. In 2000 for SMB Muharram in Houston there were about 10000 attendees and this time it's closer to 30000 estimate which is still not enough. This includes entourage of 1500plus and service members (khidmatguzaars) of another 1500. They are still scrambling for volunteers and begging people to sign up for one khidmat or another. Even though official registration for khidmatguzaars is closed - if you have a burning desire to be of service, you still can. But the numbers of attendees are still small and they are striving for full participation from all Jamaats in USA for presence in Houston. There is an accountability system set up for local area jamaats and Aamils for ensuring full attendance at Houston for people living in USA - majority of people are coming from outside USA. People are given qarzan hasana without due diligence and some are even given a gift by their well wishers to attend without repayment.

JOURNEY OF IMAM HUSAIN (A.S.) AND MOLA MUFADDAL....COMPARE BOTH

Imam Husain a.s. left Makkah on 8th Zilhaj for Kufa instead of performing Haj for what he was there. He left the Ehram clothes and took only 72 of his family members to obtain martyrdom in Karbala. Mola Mufaddal left Mumbai calling more then 20,000 mumineens to join him in Houston USA via Dubai (where he will get a royal welcome with band baaja and lavish gifts, najwa and salaams) to witness his glorious Ashura daily parade and roadshows and enjoy SHAAHI breakfast and 3-4 course daily dinner along with other 20,000 or more America's Jumaat members in luxurious setup with full band and guard of honors and accepting lavish Ziyafats with millions of dollars salaam, najwas, gifts, sougaadhs, fees, charges and so on.

The main aim of Imam Husain a.s. was to save himself from Yazid's bayt and if he was forced to do so, he was ready to accept Shahadat alongwith his 72 companions. But Mola Mufaddal has used the tragedy of Imam Husain a.s. to gather his followers with main purpose to collect millions of dollars, show his glorious standing, luxurious lifestyle, shaahi posture among million bohras, obtain bogus memorandums, glorify his father and grandfather and above all to win the succession case going on in Indian court.

Lets compare how 10 days of Mohurrum will pass in Houston USA :

1st of Mohurrum : Imam Husain a.s. told his Ashhabs to wear double clothes, fill their pots with water. Same day, when he met Hoor (a.s.)'s military, he willingly offered water to them and their horses and moved further towards Kufa. Mola Mufaddal will enjoy the day fully to get rest and recieve many dignitaries, fake certificates and memorandums from white and black Americans and maqdam majlis, salaams, najwas and gifts. He will collect hundreds of thousands in salaam and qadambosi from mumineen who were waiting there for Deedar and collect thousands of dollars in accepting Ziyafats from many mumineens at once. He will CELEBRATE this day like a real SULTAN. The glorious and colorful roadshow is arranged to recieve him and welcome him for this 10 day Ashura event.

2nd Mohurrum : Expected more then 40,000 mumineens will jam the Houston Masjid 2-3 hours before the vayez starts and he will arrive in a million dollar Rolls Royce car gifted by a mumin up to the compound and from there in ornamental Palkhi , many times superior then what Akbar Badshah and Mumtaz Mahal used to enjoy. In his vayez, he will read the written script full of praise of his father, and intermittently remembering Imam Husain a.s. and without fail lightening the event of how Imam Husain's horse halted and how he found out that the place is Karbala, then allow more then 30 minutes marasiyas and purjosh maatam giving all the credit of Imam Husain's remembrance to his father and grandfather otherwise Imam Husain's shahadat would have been forgotten forever !!!!

And, immediately after the purjosh maatam, Mola will start his roadshow from his Takht riding the lavishly decorated Palkhi and taking sufficient time to wave his hands to give his glorious Deedar to 40,000 mumineens there and million watching him around the globe. Soon after, Bohras will rush to Mawaid (dinner hall) to enjoy the first lavish feast. Halwa, Ice cream, Chicken with red gravy, fruits, Sherbat and so on. No one will remember the condition of Imam Husain a.s. in Karbala on this 2nd day of Mohurrum. After the Jaman, Bohras will rush to enjoy the city, social meetings with their relatives and friends or running after the Miyasaabs and Bhaisaabs to get better position or araz to Mola or request for some other favours with bribe (covers) to them.

3rd to 10th Mohurrum : Everyday, Mola will arive in his Rolls Royce and mumineens will line up for his Deedar, hours before and shout loudly Mola Mola until Mola disappears in his Palkhi. There will be new decorations on his Palkhi every day and night to make the particular ride unique. Every night Mola will give sharaf to several mumineens for qadambosi and other things and laugh all the way to the Bank !!

Even the Aamil personally called him and asked him to attend and offered to provide the airline tickets as well as free accommodation in Houston, Seems most of North American Abdes/Amtes are not participating and it looks bad for Malek Chuster and now the local Aamils are trying to bring their numbers higher by providing free tickets and accommodation even for atleast last 5 days

This reminds me of Bal Thackerey's Annual Dassera rally at Shivaji Park, Mumbai wherein thousands of poor marathi people from villages across Maharashtra were brought in trucks and tempos and were given free biryani and a bottle of whiskey. There used to be a mad rush of these villagers as it was a golden opportunity for them to visit the commercial capital of India free of cost which otherwise was impossible for these poor villagers to visit !

They are recruiting professionals - doctors, construction specialists, IT specialists and educational Counselors who will be rewarded with $$$ - after all is done. This is routine - ziyafat money dished out by one abde is often for the benefit of another "prodessional". We accidentally discovered this when a relative was asked to send their ziyafat check to a bigwig abde involved in khidmat - made payable not to DAWAT but to the professional who did "khidmat".

Fret not people, someone's brother or father or son is being compensated and making a buck - not just Muffy. If that's a consolation, that is.

I have been told tickets for cheap airlines to Houston are only $150-$200 USD from cities such as Detroit and Chicago. So could be cheaper from other cities closer to Houston. So airline tickets is not a major expense for the kothar to spend to offer them free. May be they also have special deals with cheap motels for these people.

This could also be called 'Benami' transaction or as we call it 'Entry in a/c books' in India. The cheque is given to an abde who then gives the amount in cash to Muffy which is either transferred to safe havens or routed to India or other countries via 'Hawala' !

While the Dawoodi Bohra community's religious leader Syedna Muffaddal Saiffuddin has been in the middle of a controversy for issuing a diktat to strictly attend the 10-day long sermons during Muharram, the rival claimant of the community's leadership, Khuzaima Qutbuddin, issued a lenient order on Wednesday stating that he understands the 'need to balance work and education'.

Qutbuddin emphasised the importance of Muharram and the first 10 days for the renewal of faith and remembrance of Imam Husain in his statement.

"He (Qutbuddin) encourages his followers to fully partake of the blessings of this auspicious occasion but he understands the need for the community members to balance their work and education and therefore has instructed those performing sermons to keep the timing such that will allow community to take maximum benefit and blessing from this occasion, with minimum impact on their work and educational needs," said a statement issued from Qutbuddin's office.

The 10-day period is extremely important for Shia Muslims globally as it marks the martyrdom of Husain, grandson of Muhammad, in the battle of Karbala. The first Muharram sermons will begin from October 14.

"The sermons in Mumbai have been scheduled from 3.30 pm to 6 pm. The timing is such that most working people and students can adjust and try to make it for the sermons," said Aziz, one of Qutbuddin's sons.

The timings of the sermons in other countries have also been scheduled by Qutbuddin's sons keeping in mind the working hours of the people there.
