what is the purpose of this site?

The one and only free public forum for Bohras. The focus of this forum is the reform movement, the Dawoodi Bohra faith and, of course, the corrupt priesthood. But the discussion is in no way restricted to the Bohras alone.

Brother Pro-Pig,
To me the purpose of this site is to create a culture for democratic discussions in the Dawoodi Bohra community. We have helped our priest class to become powerful and over-riding by not raising our voice and questioning them in time. Ask our elders and they will tell you how were our Dais up to 50th Dai. They were simple, poor, god-fearing. But we allowed our 51st Dai to loot us, usurp our community's properties and establish his vast financial empire. We allowed him to make changes in Misaq; we submitted ourselves to dictates and became his slaves. We allowed him to extort money from us and benefit his own family.
All this could happen and still happening because we are not questioning them as there is culture of democratic discussion in our community. We simply kiss any letter which presumably comes from Dai without knowing its content.
There must be a culture make common Bohras a partner in decision making for wefare activities of the community. Muminees should be invited to give suggestions whether for example the old mosque in their town be broken down or not, whether Moharram's vaiz in far away places is justified or not, whether various committees mushrooming every now and then are useful or not, whether Bohra women should take leading part along with men in various Anjumans, etc.

All this could happen and still happening because we are not questioning them as there is NO culture of democratic discussion in our community.
Please correct it.

Since being a mumineen with strong belief in aqa moula and with a sure berth in jannat, God must have been crazy not to have only Dawoodi Bohras on this planet.
