ghanu jeevo.. ta qayamat ghanu jeevo...

The one and only free public forum for Bohras. The focus of this forum is the reform movement, the Dawoodi Bohra faith and, of course, the corrupt priesthood. But the discussion is in no way restricted to the Bohras alone.

If the spirit is understood, I am sure most problems facing humanity presently would cease to exist.
Please explain who has the right to tlk about islam?kisse jane islam ke bare mein??apne adeeb bhai se ya apne maulvi alvi sahab se ya phir un non bohri mullao se who preach us the arkan for the haj and umra?If you ahve understood the spirit of islam then why dont organise a workshop n educate your fellow people about your enlightment.May be this can clear the clouds of misconception about islam in ordinary mans mind & may be this can bring in a fortune for you, whereby you can even fund our brother reformists as We always claim that we have limited resources.

"Shame must be on you tahir for wearing the mask of a true syedna follower when partying with the orthodox & then coming on this forum & presenting yourself as a person with reformist linage."

Does it not negate, what was in your verbose. See here, you have a person, who is disuising himself as a true follower, but deep inside he is not buying it. He wanted a let out. He could not do it in front of others like him, so he again disguised, and revealed his true self in here.

Now if you can enlighten us, why is this phenomenon happening, how common is it. You yourself claim to belong to reformist once. Were you wrong then, and what was your burning ire.

I was with the reformist & still am,although i am not that vocal or omnipresent like my other peers or leaders.I dont say that i am a saint but what i would like say is that i would like to bring to notice is that whatever i feel wrong or deviation is there,it should be brought to the notice of my fellow brethren.

checks and balances
Every person has the right to do whatever he/she wants, and whenever.Freedom is right we all enjoy.Certain times have certain cures.Just like our Br. pro-pig has the right to believe and do things his way.We can point out all the bad associated with haramkhori and all the other bad it brings.I dont think his mother raised a donkey. He undestands right and wrong. One day he will find the joy of honest hard days work.He will feel the pleasure of stronger mind and body.Pray for that day to come soon.

I don't need an alias to attend those functions. The likes of me actualy sponsor those functions. And guess what, we also allow the orthos to attend those functions.

Among bohras, I am afraid that only the likes of propee and profro stand with you. So first make sure whom are you speaking for. Delusion leads to maladaptive behaviour.

last weekend worldwide was the shukur ni majlis and jaman, that the syedna was spared from his eventual fate...

and guess what, they played the recording of his speech when he received the amils and jamaats in mumbai who had come to give the fat envelopes full of vajebaats, where he is giving lots of benedictions to bohras all over the world and praying for their prosperity and healthful life, so that the fat envelopes keep rolling in and become fatter and heavier..

perhaps a rare occurence where the syedna is praying for us bohras, " ghanu jeevo o ghetao, ghanu jeevo.." its a miracle how his health improves at the sight and smell of all those huge piles of money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

maybe they shud suspend a replica of the kohinoor from his bedroom ceiling, looking at it and hoping to acquire it from the queen will keep the roohani bawa going for another 15-20 years!!

ghanu jeevo...(sung to the latest tune of shakira)

I dont agree here. Moula always prays for the well being and happiness of the community. At every occassion and at every Miqaat he prays for us. So, please Zulfiqar bhai, dont get carried away and write only the truth as it will lend credibility to your posts in the future.

Bhai MT.

it is very simple..just read my list of (rhetorical) questions posed to the abde syednas on the thread "facts and marvels of the syedna".

the answers will jump out at you. in fact the silence of the abde's is so deafening that it speaks for itself..!!

6. how many insitutions of secular primary education?

10. how many poor bohras and muslims he has visited in slums and relief camps in his entire lifetime?
11. how many religious and scholarly books or papers has he published?
12. has he ever made any attempts to reach out to those amongst his flock who have been wronged and bring them back into the fold with sincere love and regrets at the way they were made to suffer?
13. has he ever honestly declared his income and assets and given 2.5% out of it as zakat?
14. has he ever paid income tax to the indian govt?
15. how many poor bohras have ever got free medical treatment on his account, the same as he gets?
16. how many poverty stricken bohras have got free medical treatment in saifee hospital?
17. how many bank accounts does he and his family have in banks around the world, the deposits in them and the interest earned?
18. what wealth did he start with and how much has he multiplied it in his lifetime?
19. how many animals has he hunted in his lifetime, and how many of them were on the endangered list?
20. how many guns does he possess or he knows how to use?
21. how many mullah's, shaikh's, MKD's and NKD's has he created so far and the amounts got from each as salaams?
22. how many ziyafats, foreign trips, samuh nikahs, scout band competitions, makdam ni majlises he has attended etc?
23. how many court cases going on against him and how many has he filed?

He works overtime to make sure that no bohra becomes a sportsman since sports engender free spirit which will make people unfit for cult living. Perhaps this is the only time when Syedna actualy works 'for' the community.

Same logic goes here. Confirmist shopkeepers, doctors, engineers and consultants are the idle fodder to run the cult. Inventors and artists will think beyond the noorani box and so undesirable for the community.

This is so true...sometime I do feel tied down inside the community and even free thinking being equated to blasphemy .....close minded people everywhere around me.......may be thats teh reason I do not have many bohri friends......my best friends are all from other communities........

quoted by tahir..

""He works overtime to make sure that no bohra becomes a sportsman since sports engender free spirit which will make people unfit for cult living. Perhaps this is the only time when Syedna actualy works 'for' the community.""

which means that he is actually taking this entire community towards being 'unfit, unhealthy, obese and ugly'..!!!

in my lifetime, i have seen this community of handsome men and women being transformed into a bunch of bearded monkeys with unsightly paunches and misshapen bodies and women who are glad to hide their layers of ugly fat under the voluminous buttefly ridas. all this is a part of a grand plan to take bohras towards hell and damnation of course, whilst relieving them of their chequebooks, creditcards, cash and valuables on the way. once everything is looted then one final kick on the backside and u are soaring in space with a tattered ruku chhitthi for solace..!!

Oh sorry buddy,What I was trying to say is Bohra men specially kothar dont get out in the field, they sit all day listening to waiz. After that the men eat a big unhealthy dinner. With no sports, exercise or participation in any physical activity. They get fat and ugly.
Thats why they wear loose clothes to hide their big bellies.Even when they wear shirts and pants they leave the shirt out instead of tucking it in.None would or could walk with their chest out. These people are so unfit that they would be sitting ducks in fire or any natural calimity.Somewhere I read or heard that Moula Ali said "keep your stomack smaller than your chest. If you see someone with larger stomack he hasnt earned honestly".
Hope it is clear ..........

seeker,

what if dawoodi bohras somehow miraculously had been present at the time of Imam Hussain and were called out by him to join in his last stand against the forces of evil? would they have joined him unhesitatingly (being reminded of his sacrifices day and night, more than any other sect of muslims) or would they have excused themselves being too busy eating 3 kharas, 3 mithas and not in proper shape to fight?

the scene beggars description..

They would have said something like this "I have unshaken faith in my dai and I will not be distracted by Hussain's struggle. Allah will punish the sinners. Why should I bother? When Hussian dies let me know, I'll do the matam...burp"

i expect the bohras to say:

"ai hussain, it is yr sacred duty to fight and fight alone, our duty is to do maatam after yr gruesome death and have heavy meals afterwards to celebrate the occasion. we do not have any raza from our aqa maula to engage in futile struggles where we will be slaughtered. so we slaughter millions of chickens and goats instead to dine on."

now if hussain had won and survived, what would the bohras do?! no jamans, no maatam, no ali baba ane chaalis chor....

and what do YOU do piggy after maatam in the 10 days of moharram? do u go home hungry..?

and what about ali baba ane chalis chor? do they go home without eating after every ziyafat or do they hog on 4 kharas, 4 mithaas without thinking of hussain's hunger and thirst?

the dung heap u wallow in has taught u only one thing, never look at yr own filth covered family, only vilify others.
