The roza is Sy. Qutbuddin Shaheed & Sy. Abdulhusain Husamuddin's resting place in Ahmedabad. The occasion was the Urs Majlis of Sy. Abdulhusain Husamuddin.

Some Bohras coming back from Dubai to Bombay are narrating the stories of their sufferings during stay in Dubai like accommodation, food and booking for their return etc. Will someone in Dubai or participating in Dubai can throw some more light on this?
I am told that Dubai's Jamaat is filthy rich and kothar takes lots of care in providing good food and accommodation to keep Bohras happy especially during such occasions when they have to keep up Aaqa Moula's Shaan.

Approximate expense per person per day (includes accomodation, meals & transport)= Dhs 150

And Dubai mumeen will get 12 times what they have spent (give 1, get 12), so they will be 12 times richer )

he has donated millions for Qarza Hasanas all over the world for the Bohra community, he has made so many qubbas and zaris, he has built masjids and jameas, and during ashara he provided food for everone on one day, do you know how much money that costs... and you lot say he lives lavishly...well where in the Quran or anywhere does it say not to?!in fact, islam encourages you to wear the best things (zeenat) and use the best things. No one has forbidden these on man kind. Now that our community has the money, i don't see why we should lead simple lives when we have the ability to live more comfortably. Imams (as) used to buy the most lavishing and extravagent clothings for themselves so why can't we?
