Re: SYEDNA SAHEB'S 95TH BIRTHDAY
I told you that i am stupid.
now it is a very big point, if you want to answer, answer with cool tempers, logic and refrences.
does sharia ask to believe in hadiths.
does non belief in sahee hadiths render one kafir.

Re: SYEDNA SAHEB'S 95TH BIRTHDAY
Actually, a lot of the shariah is from hadith. For eg. the way to pray namaz, the most important part of shariah is from hadith. The way to do Hajj is from hadith.
The quran says obey Allah and his messenger. So negation of hadith automatically means that you are disobeying Allah.

YUSUFALI: The Messenger believeth in what hath been revealed to him from his Lord, as do the men of faith. Each one (of them) believeth in Allah, His angels, His books, and His messengers. "We make no distinction (they say) between one and another of His messengers." And they say: "We hear, and we obey: (We seek) Thy forgiveness, our Lord, and to Thee is the end of all journeys."
PICKTHAL: The messenger believeth in that which hath been revealed unto him from his Lord and (so do) believers. Each one believeth in Allah and His angels and His scriptures and His messengers - We make no distinction between any of His messengers - and they say: We hear, and we obey. (Grant us) Thy forgiveness, our Lord. Unto Thee is the journeying.
SHAKIR: The messenger believes in what has been revealed to him from his Lord, and (so do) the believers; they all believe in Allah and His angels and His books and His messengers; We make no difference between any of His messengers; and they say: We hear and obey, our Lord! Thy forgiveness (do we crave), and to Thee is the eventual course.
So if you think Jesus Christ is not a muslim but the prophet (saw) was a muslim, you are negating an ayah of the quran.

Dear Admin,
If you look back to the posts by Tahir there are many words which are much more abusive towards Sayedna Saheb (the one I recall was in the topic 'hunting or something similar' but cant find that topic now) .
I never saw you advising Tahir to restrain from using abusive words.
Morever if you see Mulim First has just used the word 'Bhagwan' and nothing else towards sayedna.

Re: SYEDNA SAHEB'S 95TH BIRTHDAY
pro pig, i would again suggest your ID to some other name. Just think cooly and reflect.
It is a very good sign, that you have realized, that there are more important things than just attending ziafat, and indulging in nonsenical activities.
Of course your well being as well as well beings of your loved one should take precedence. Your advice is welcome.
As you may understand the frustration about the exhibitionist style that has been adapted by jamat(s). I would also say, most of the shehzadas are also practicing the same life style, they are using brand new cars, massive traveling.
We should all strive to find peace and love of god in simplistic manner. we should all pray to him that he shows us the right path.
Religion in the basics is not complicated. But when religion is mixed with personal and communal intrest, then it becomes a tool of mass exploitation.
I would give you a fresh example of the recent ziafat, in which scores of people are shown parading with different states flags.
I was unable to understand the logic behind this. If it was to show to Bawa Saheb, the participation of different jamats, it could have been done by just letting him know. A grand parade does not auger well for spirit of religion.
We oppose the three khalifas, on the basis of malukiat, that they tried to mix religion with their worldly desire to be the governer. But again by having people paraded with different colour flags, it gives the impression of imperialism.
As I have said earlier, it is our good fortune that we have a buzrug religious leader. who wants us to adhere to the true spirit of fatmid religion, i.e. by praying, by observing basic di'ams of religion, by being benovelent and merciful to our fellow brethern.
The religious teaching(s) should exclude the fluffy seats, show of and brandishing of ultra expensive worldly goods.
Also religion should demonstrate the justice and equality among common folks.
I would give you one more example, Boston Masjid was constructed by one person, Sh: Murtaza Dahodwala (please forgive me if i spelt the name wrong). It is a single good deed that one can do in the name of Allah. I really appreciate that. Having said that, because of that good deed and ikram that he did to Bawa saheb's family, he is given a very special status. Which in my opinion is not worthy of religious spirit of justice and fair play.
He did some thing good and for Allah, he will be judged accordingly, and on the day of justice he will be rewarded.
Morever the expenditure that he did on construction of masjid, we should also know how much tax write off he got on that basis. Jamat for the sake of transparency, may inform, about the tax exemption he claimed on the basis of that expenditure. So that an actual image could be drawn for the sake of fairness.

Dear Muslim First,
Please do not play games with us. Let us remind you that you are not even a Bohra, so technically you have no business participating in this "Borha and Reforms" fourm in the first place. Secondly, it is not for you to judge who is Taghut or not. Let Allah be the judge of that. Thirdly, all these years you've been free to make your sunni/wahabi case in a Bohra/Fatimid/Shiah forum and we've had no objection to that, so please do not stretch it too far.
Thank you,

Re: SYEDNA SAHEB'S 95TH BIRTHDAY
Well said Admin.about MF
Now coming back to original topic of Milad, did anyone seen the pictures posted on Maalumat.com regarding Syedna's grandson wedding. Is there such thing as AUSTERITY or Kothar believes now that they belong to the families of King Abdullah of Jordan and other Kings of Middle East. WHAT A POMPOUS SHOW OF ILL GOTTEN WEALTH. Does the CAGED TIGER symbolises the CAGED BOHRA Community. WHile Bohras are asked to give US $ 21,000 towards building Mosques and Syedna's Waaz to give Fakhir Wajebaats. This is why they need FAKHIR WAJEEBATS.
Please kotharis come to your senses before you meet the same fate as the Roman Empire did.

Yu dumwits must have selected hearing , did yu not also pick up from Aka molas waaz mubarak that substantial amounts of money were presented to various jamaats institues across europe and North America as Kardan Hasana !
regarding the Tigers some of them should be let loose in your progs jamaat of kinzeers, what a meal that would have made for them.
Re Wedding, why not have pomp and ceremony , why shouldnt the hosts whoever they be, make a special day of it.
Yu just cant take it can you, please continue to wallow in hasad and self pity.

Admin,
Thanks for the clarification.
Perhaps I was referring to some other post regarding hunting Syedna in which I feel the abuses were much more severe and were left unremarked.
Maybe I am wrong..

Re: SYEDNA SAHEB'S 95TH BIRTHDAY
Hey Belief
If Syedna has given Fakhir Money to the jamaats of North America then how come All Jamaats are raising Saabil and why are they asking each unit of US $ 21,ooo whether it is for Toronto Jamat or a new Masjid for New York or any other. Why the pressure is put on people to pay hefty Najwaas. If the so called FAAKHIR money is given this should help in reudcing contribution for SAABIL and other operatiing expenses of the JAMAATS
The problem with you people is that your brain has been so much fried by doing PURJOSH MAATAM that their are no good cells left in your brain.
BTW if the tiger would left the cage, all the KOTHARIS would have made a nice meals as there were no progressives there amd I am sure Pig and Frog (PRO) would have been a delicacy for that tiger

Sh. Muraza murtuza Dahod(wala) is a Engineer and Harvard MBA. His wife is a Doctor. He is a serial entrepreneur and has made lot of money building and selling IT compnies. No doubt he is a God fearing man and loves his religious leader. He has made lot of money and given lot of money in charity. Giving money to charity is part of Tax planning. All money you give by check, you can claim tax deduction for it. That reduces your taxable Income. If you give in cash then you can not claim tax benefit. So there is nothing wrong if you get tax benefit.

Re: SYEDNA SAHEB'S 95TH BIRTHDAY
Pro Pig: Read MF's reply. In addition to that let me point out some more for information.
You said, he sold his house, and put the money in for construction of masjid. good.
But was his house worth 10 millions or more dollars, if so, then he really made the good money before, to buy that kind of house. Right.
Even if, he paid for the construction by selling his house, still he has to claim the tax exemption on the basis of registered charity's reciept. provided he donated to a regstered charity. Whcih he could use to lower his capital gain tax.
It is an open secret, that he made lot of money by setting IT companies in recent past. where he made his tons.
if you want to prove your point, you may call or visit IRS, use freedom of information act, with which you may request the tax return of public charities, name the charity which built masjid, you will get the return for that year, from which you can find the donations made to charity, and names of the persons and institutions who donated. on the basis of that information you may draw your conclusion.
if the above seems too complicated for you, just tell me, and i will do that for you.

MF: Even if you paid cash, and the reciept was issued, it may still be used for tax purposes.
Morever, a donation of more than $5000.00 can not be made in cash.
As for construction of masjid, it will be an ongoing donation for some times, as he was bearing the total expense, he may have to maintain his books.
Charities accounts has to be audited too, so the auditors have to point out any large sums, (in this case one donor only, if he was the only donor on book).
charities also have to submit the audit report, and make it public too.

You are right, If you donate cash and obtain receipt then you can claim IT deductions. For a Muslim large cash donation is a danger.
You can google Ashraf Dahodwala and get all the info. available in public. Mosque in Billerica, MA is a public trust and you can get info. from Attorney Gereral's office of Mass. He has no need to sell his house to build Masjid. Believe me, he has made millians building and selling atleast 2 companies and his currant venture is doing well. He does not put too much of his money in business but Venture Capitilist do. I have not heard he sold his house. If he sold it then it is not for this reason. Hay God is kind to him and he is paying back. Good for him and Boston area people are Lucky. They do not have to foot the bill. I understand it is expensive for them to run the Mosque and pay for Amil.

Is not Dahodwala the same person who donated a very large amount for the Saify Hospital? If he had to sell his house and move to an apartment to donate for the mosque, I wonder what he sold when he donated even a larger amount to the hospital.

If the 'country' becomes a blood sucking vampire, it becomes every citizen's duty to fix it. By asking questions, we are actually doing a favour to the 'country'.Originally posted by pro_pig:

Pro Pig: If we go by your logic, then the whole sturcture of human values will fall down. I shall present you with some examples.
All the messengers of god were sent to the societies, which were rotten, and corrupt. But each of them would have adhered to your advice, then we would not have any religion or code of ethics. Because according to you, if they could bear the heat, they should get out of the kitchen.
Rasulillah (SAW) came, when the whole arab society was decayed, they were pagans, worshipping idols, drinking, gambling and adultereous, and what not. Now according to your advice, he should have left the place, and did nothing. Then we would not have this beautiful religion called Islam.
There are certain categories of Jihad, first and foremost is to stand against tyrany and injustice.
If you are living in a world today, that is far just, better, less tyrinical, and more equal. It is because of those brave man and woman, who stood up against all this, they may not have realized the fruits in their lifetime, but eventually it did make a difference.
Martin Luther King stood up against church abuses, and atrocities, he challanged the church dogmas, he had to face the ultimate consequences.
Today, in all europe and almost in all christian world, church is not so imposing in private life. It does not lynch any more etc.
Martin Luther Kings are essential for all religions, so that true spirit and human face of the religion (for which all religions claimed to be for) could be found.
Think about it, be part of the movement, or create one, that can bring positive change in ordinary lives.
