Appeal to all Mumineen

Dear readers and contributors on this Forum:

Admin has been kind enough to start this new topic called "JAMAATS ARE US" where we can report incidences of humilation/extortion/rejection, etc, etc., by the Amil and/or his appointed Ayans. Whether you are the victim or you see someone in your Jamaat is being made a victim to these atrocities, in the name of Religion, then please be bold and courageous enough to report it here. A detailed and un biased report of the event should be brought here without personal comments and/or judgements or curses. Let Admin decide, how to grade the Amil/Jamaat based on the situation.

InshahAllah this will bring a positive change. But let's not expect it on an overnight basis. Nevertheless the Change will come. "In-Allah-a-Ma-Saabereen".

We hope members will use this Forum scrupulously to expose lies and corruption that's endemic in our jamaat system. Please keep the discussion focused on jamaats and aamils, and on specific cases and facts. We'll edit/delete posts that are vague and/or without substance. As for "grading" jamaats/amils, we don't think it is necessary nor will it add much value to the discussion. Let's just concentrate on facts and let the people judge.

This is a move in the right direction. Just want add that exposes are not enough, this forum should also be used to build and organise resistance. Resistance is the key - this is the only way people can show their power. Bohras must be encouraged to say NO to the amil and his henchmen, and resist their flagrant and constant demands for money. If people start refusing to pay up and keep up the resistance, this whole edifice of corruption will have no legs to stand on. This is the only way to bring the priestly mafia to heel. Their power is built on money, stop the supply and see what happens.

BUHSRA!! BUSHRA!!

See how our collective step has brought tremendous results. AZ are you reading this ? Congratulations to all Mumineen who have come forward from all over the world and are contributing and exposing the amils of their respective jamaats.

In these times of economic crunch, joblessness, stock market crash and all other economic hurdles that the world is facing, including Bohras of course, I don't think any Amil of any jamaat has ever come forward and asked any member of their jamaats how they are coping or offered any help, leave alone material help, atleast moral support. However, they are circulating letters that by the Karam and Ahsaan of Aqa Maula, this year the Sabil, Wajebat, etc, will be increased and that the difference amount should be immediately remitted. This is the karam and ahesan in these trying moments.

Can we have city specific threads, so members of this forum can post happenings in that city / town / dargah etc.?
