As we all know that religion should have no flaws in it and many faiths do have many unlike Islam which consists none. It is like posing a question to you saying that will you have the water from a tank which has just one drop of urine. Just think. The holy Quran is an owners manual for us human beings and we should only follow what it says. Religion is no doubt a very very sensitive topic to people but at the sametime we should be assured that what we are doing is right and it is not any kind of a mistake. If i ask to many people today about what they are in terms of religion they say for e.g Muslim so if you ask them why are so they simpy say because their family is. But what if their family would be non muslims ? what would they be ? answer is non muslims .So the conclusion is we should always look upon what we are following and not follow it blindly and you never know you could be wrong.

Whatever I would say please people i am sorry for it and i do not mean to hurt you in anyway but discussions are always good and think about what i say with an open and a neutral approach.
First of all we all are muslims and we clearly have to follow the quran as i said earlier. In many parts of the book it is said that sects are not allowed so why is there still mis conceptions of people calling themselves bohras and sunni and shia? are we that stupid to call ourselves that and end up in hell?

Then people i have researched a lot and i see that the Dai of bohras comes from the family of the prophet right? so tell me is God that dumb that he wouldnt give our beloved prophet a son if he really wanted this imamat to go on instead of giving this imamat through his daughter?

Then did hazrat ali come to divide islam ? did he wear a golden topi ? did imam hussain wear one ?

Then its true that the biggest sin of them all is shirk and i have seen that people bow down to the dai so people tell me a sin which is not forgiven in anycase and your own leader does it what do you think will happen to him on judgement day ? According to the Quran hell fire awaits him and this is not what i am saying this is what your own book says and there are not buts to this statement it has to happen so people open your eyes for once and see whats going on and you will figure out the truth may gods mercy be upon all of you no offense but i wont want anyones bad and if you want to comment please give non-emotional answers but logical ones.

The present Bohra Dai is from the linage of Ismaili musta'ali Tayyabi converted hindu families. You don't have to go far. Just search on this website and you will get all you need.

Agree but as the language changes over 1400 hundred years the many divisions in Islam overtime is based on how the followers interpreted statements in the Quran. How can I belive a Wahabi interpretation of only 100 years ago is more true ?

Do not under estimate and belittle the power and influence families have. Today Islams growth is a documented fact that it has grown because of stronger family values where parents ensure the children are brought up in Islamic awareness like I do and high birth rate. In a course of a year can you substantiate that conversion and self realisation has created more Muslims than the number of new Muslim births?

This I agree as Bohras equate the Diai to be some logical link to Allah as a represenatative of Prophets and Imams. Will they go to hell ? well Allah knows how he will judge every human race member whether he be a Jew, Bohra, Pagan, Wahabi with blood on his hand, me and you.

First of all why do you call me a wahabi ? all you are supposed to call yourself is a muslim and if you dont atleast dont involve or label them as someone else. All i know is I am a 17 year old muslim from the heart and soul nothing else.

See you are called the ashraf-ul-maqlookat that means you can decide yourself what is right and wrong and brother islam does never ever teach that sects are right please quote and tell me

for your prostration thing ...if the book says that its gonna happen then its gonna happen i am not judging but evaluating and believe me if you prove to me somehow that your leaders wont get punished for this and they will be exempted so i will lose my faith in islam.

one more thing i would like to add the misaaq that bohra people take, ive read the whole thing and it clearly shows that god is lesser in power than the dai and its logical that no one should follow it and it is no where in original practices that our prophet made people take such an oath.

secondly bohra people have a different namaz? why? isnt it evident enough that the prayers prayed in the kaabah are still the same as they were in the prophets time and how can you change that ? so if you say that your prayers is right does that mean that the prophet prayed wrong?

First of all your research seems pretty woeful. You got even the most basic thing wrong. Going further, the Prophet (SAW) himself chose Hazrat Ali (AS) as the leader and "Maula" after him. If you don't believe in the famous gadeer-e-khum event then I think I shouldn't argue with you any further.

Hazrat Ali (AS) didn't divide Islam. In fact we truly believe that because oh Him, today the "real" Muslims are united. Those who didn't listen to the Prophet's order cannot be regarded as Muslims anyway.

Surat-ul-Baqarah 34."واذ قلنا للملائكة اسجدوا لادم"
(The malaekat(angels) were commanded by Allah to prostrate before Adam. Iblis disobeyed.)

Adam, the first Prophet and man had angels prostate before him, by the command of Allah Himself. Would you call that shirk? If yes, then no further arguments because I don't consider you worth it. I hope the excerpt from Holy Quran itself will suffice your non-prostration theory.
