Following is an email sent out from Toronto Jamaat. Seems like the Kothar has unleashed its army of blood sucking beasts worldwide to suck every ounce of blood from the hapless Momin and extort as much as they can on this occassion. Do they know how many hours of back breaking work an average person in Toronto has to do in a factory to earn this amount ?
if there are 300 sabil paying families in Toronto what I would like to know is that what would they do with the Dollars 300,000, Will they have the expenses audited? If not and if they try to extort this money from me and threaten me with expulsion if I do not pay I will surely let my Member of Parliamen know of this and seek his intervention in getting the accounts audited .

Lets not be naive. Agreed it takes hard work to earn those dollars but considering the minimum wage of Toronto (10.50 an hour) you can easily earn that amount if you work 10 hours a day for approx. 9- 10 days. So in that context they are just asking 10 days of your life in return for all what Maula has been doing, is doing and will be doing for you.

Hypocrite dear, how many times do you ask for Maula's help in your daily life? A personal opinion: I think a 1000 dollars is way too little. Maula deserves to be paid more. Correct me if I am wrong but he is the only Dai who has lived to be a 100 and that will happen only once! The Community has become like a club and to be a member you need to pay the dues otherwise dont be a member. Ideally its supposed to be a religious community but despite the wrongdoings in the community which are seen and experienced by many, people still give in; then its better to give in completely. I feel if you have literally given your whole life to Maula in terms of name, career paths, business, health etc then why hold back in terms of your money! The only way forward for this community is when a majority within the community realize and do something. I see many posts about progs/ reformists being a minority and seeming to waste their time but truth be told, we are the happy lot. Dear Ozmujaheed,

As the saying goes "common sense is not so common". Of course its extortion to the highest degree but sadly people still want to stay in the community and bow down to the extortionists. You cant have the cake and cut it too hence if you want to stay in the community, you should have to continue to give in to their demands.

Fear is the driving force of the community. People fear retribution and retaliation and hence people give in to their demands. The only way to overcome it is make it more unbearable. For many a 1000 dollars is still acceptable hence fear tends to overcome the thought process. However make it 10,000 dollars or 100,000 dollars and voila, see how people stand up! This is the best solution for the community.

We tend to talk about the atrocities and wrongdoings but unless and until a majority rise up and retaliate, we are talking to the wall. Unless there is a majority within the community, no change will occur and the only way that can happen is when things get more worst! I also feel for our fellow brothers and sisters in the community but by us talking about it will not bring change but rather action and that too within the community!!!

I cant resist but comment on Adna Gulam's post. This is a typical case of Fanatism to the highest degree and of course the stupidity associated to it. Adna Gulam represents a majority of the typical Bohri Mentality associated with the "Maula".

One simple question I would like to ask Adna is that; if your Maula means so much to you then you surely are practicing unislamic practices and as such are a bigger "Munafik".
