Suggestion? Colour Code
Suggestion? Colour Code
This site is a clear divide between two groups.
And there can only be two groups.
QURAN : فريق في الجنة و فريق في السعير
(There is a group in Heaven, and a group in Hell)
Right & Wrong
With us or against us.
Since it's nearly impossible for anyone to admit he's "wrong", let's just re-name the two groups.
1. Dawoodi Bohra s (Believers in the 52nd Dai Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin TUS), and adhere by everything the word "belief" stands for. "Some" may call them (incorrectly) fanatics, or even taint them as "abdes", (which they are proud of to be, but the "others" would never comprehend it).
2. The second group, I'm not sure what it should be named. There clearly not Dawoodi Bohra s, as they don't believe, or even utter a word of respect to the tenets of Dawoodi Bohra belief, nor its leader, further more, speak out of total disrespect.
There are commonly known as the "Progys"?
Coming to the point. Whilst reading these blogs, and since there are a number of authors, it's sometimes a little difficult to know which "side" the writer is on. It would make it much easier to understand.
SUGGESTION (for the administrators) :
Make two colour codes, where the user chooses which side he's on, and his posts or name appear in that colour.
There is a saying that the Devil will always try to appear in a deceiving form and never in his usual deformed state. That is how he causes fithnah .
So let's not be the "devilish". Let's show our TRUE colours, and set the record straight, clear cut, in Black and white.
Is it possible?
I'm a proud believer of Group Number "1". Can we take Green?
No. 2, (that is if you want to reveal your colours), take your pick!

Oh, furthermore, (if people agree) & it's too much work for the administrators, we can from now on, just type in the specific colour.
It's so easy, highlight and click!!

Re: Suggestion? Colour Code
Did you have the RAZA to be on this forum and No I do not have to take any color because I am not Abde and I do enjoy my freedom unlike you, who needs to be color coded, remember Hilter did color code the Jews before sending them to gas chamber, so pick you colorI'm a proud believer of Group Number "1". Can we take Green?

Welcome to forum first of all. I am an open Reformist ( Muddai, lanaati, jhahanami what you people would term). Very good suggestion ! can you write few words also on any abde forum like malumaat.com or Mumeneen.org etc. Could you kindly give these suggestion to them as well.
Would your masters allow us to write few words on your sites?
Is is not miracle of Dai that you are here without Raza to the fourm of Muanfiqeen who creat fitna.
Brother, do not waste much of your time on this forum as I have seen people changing and do not destroy you duniya and akhirat.

Taking Consideration the Above Comment , from 'Adam' . .I support him.
The Idea is not to bring any discrimation among the members but it just that the reader will get the clue and It will be easy to make out what a common Progressive and orthodox bohra ( As it will be easily recognizable) thinks and feel about their respective and other side of divide, in terms of belief and management.
Saperate Color for the Neutral poeple who don't fall under D.bohra community..For ex- Muslim First,Anajmi etc
But, Both the Parties should be agree on the concept then only it should be executed. Else lets drop The IDea.

Re: Suggestion? Colour Code
Thank you Stranger.
Very calmly said, and you highlighted the reason I suggested this (maybe I wasn't so clear in my writing).
It's just so that the "viewer" knows who the "author" is. From a literary perspective it's very important to understand the author. Unless he is the devil! If he showed his true colours, none would believe him! That's how he deceives! (Which i'm sure none of you claim to be, or do u?)
All the other comments, according to me were a waste of time!
greenish redblack, hitler colouring are just diverting from the topic. Just establish 2 groups. So easy! (But people just like to beat around the bush!
1. Belive in Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin TUS and follow him
2. Follow any "other" idealogy. Progressive, Modern, AliAsghar Engineer ideology, Vasanwala etc etc
We don't need to jump to conclusions about right and wrong. Just two sides!
@mustafanalwalla
I think it will solve to some extent. If the REAL Dawoodi Bohra s (Group 1) just stick to green, leaving Group 2 (anyone who claims to be other than a DB) to type in black (it's easier for them not to change colours). At least it is clear to the viewer and thus be cautioned.

I'm afraid colour coding is not going to solve anything.
When there are members on this forum who claim to belong to 1 but are actually from 2, and try to decieve people on those grounds, how difficult will it be to change the colour too?

Re: Suggestion? Colour Code
I really don't even mind THREE Colours or more.
Just state your belief clarify it and stick to it.
You can even move sides if you change!

Re: Suggestion? Colour Code
I support the color code idea suggested here. Let all abdes use the color code 008000 - it is little darker, and easy on the eye for reading.

Re: Suggestion? Colour Code
I don't understand what the color coding would accomplish. The abdes here are not a cohesive group who are here to fight the proggies or convert them. Every one has a different agenda to be on this forum. I for one am here just to enjoy the helplessness of the proggies.

Re: Suggestion? Colour Code
How typical of abdes, they have lost all capacity to use their brains. They can't read and understand and form their own opinion. In short, they can't think for themselves. They need colour-coded text help them understand who is on which side. The ultimate dumbing down, eh! No wonder they are made to wear the white quami libas so that they can recognise one another and take pride in their mutual slavery. In any case, their colour-coded green text must be welcomed - we'll know which posts not to read
. And what about abdes who are colour blind - they will never know who is a friend and who's enemy. A great dilemma, indeed.

Re: Suggestion? Colour Code
Color coding? Another way of saying segregation and divisiveness.
I find this very amusing: Bohras are all made to dress alike, look alike, wear white, etc.
Now a Bohri is asking people who disagree with their twisted ideas of Islam to write in a different color.
What, you need a COLOR to understand someone's idealogy and views?
What is next: a certain group has to sit in the back of the bus?
Or people who are late with their sabeel sit in the back of the jamaatkhaana?
This is definitely an influence of the cult mentality spilling over here into the forum.
A clever way to ostracize people.

Re: Suggestion? Colour Code
Salaam everyone,
I think color coding would do injustice to the variety of different opinions and stances on this forum: to even try to fairly represent everyone, we'd need a lot of colors, and so it would get too complicated and confusing. Also, even single individuals exhibit a variety of different colors as people are constantly modifying their beliefs. In short, I think a color system would get useless quickly. It would also be a source of embarrassment (and to highlight this I felt like highlighting my text as you see
. As others have suggested, colorizing text seems to suggest the inability of the forum members to discern the beliefs and standpoints of forum members merely from the content of the messages themselves.

Re: Suggestion? Colour Code
This thread is amusing. Abdes evidently showing that they are at a primary school level needing colours to differentiate between text.
Re: Suggestion? Colour Code
Humsafar,
Very well said. The abdes are so dumb that if I say "ganpati bappa maurya" in green "ganpati bappa maurya", they will assume I am an abde and take their bappa for vicergen!!!

Re: Suggestion? Colour Code
Always appreciate the criticism!
The "Abdes" would always have the same agenda, as our belief is on.
Why don't you proggies actually prove how united you guys are? Thus the colour coding -"United we stand".
Yes, we are a bonded community, it "Defines" us.
Something you don't want to be a part of. No issues with that - "whatever floats your boat".
So stop twisting the facts and beating around the bush, a fond habit of the proggies indeed.
As stated by myself earlier, "Knowing the Author" is the essence. And due to the "nickname" s or hidden code word used by many it's not very clear "who" it is.
Only an idiot wouldn't differentiate between what to hear and what not to hear. This will just "AID" the process. Not "Define" it.
Finally, it is the readers decision how to take it. No question about that. So stop whining.
The proggies love to "deceive" and distort facts in their devilish manner. Why are they so scared to come out in the open?

Re: Suggestion? Colour Code
Adam, It appears from your first post that you suggested the color green for the abdes. Perhaps you should instead have asked the Syedna what color he would've preferred for the Bohras? Cuz obviously he wants you all to REPRESENT! when you're on a website that you probably don't have the raza to be on.

Only to learn that the being that portrayed itself as a man was actually a monkey!
Don't divert from the point at hand. This is only for clarity s sake. I appeal to the true Dawoodi Bohras.
I have no control over the actions of the Devil, or a monkey for that matter!

Re: Suggestion? Colour Code
I believe Adam colour coded his text correctly. GREEN, the color of money, which we know the abde idiots like to pay hand over fist to the greedy Dai and his family!

Such an immature, un-professional conversation, like i'm talking to kids, or monkeys!
It's just a colour.
Stop diverting from the topic like you guys always love to do.
Sadly, victims of "Sensative listening".

The point is the connotation behind the colour, not the colour itself.
Anyway, this thread has proved that you sir are an idiot!

Re: Suggestion? Colour Code
It recently occurred to me that since the mainstream (orthodox, if you will) Bohras seem to have a strong sense of community and identity, Adam's proposal to mark off forum posts of members of different beliefs by color is perhaps not just something stupid we should laugh at, but an interesting consequence of that sense of identity.
I hypothesize that most communities on Earth feel an intrinsic sense of identity, e.g. through a common creed, common ethnic origins, common shared experiences. On the other hand I think the Bohras share an *extrinsic* sense of identity: they may feel like they're unified by creed, but I think they might not really be. Rather, they're unified by extrinsic factors, like saya, topi, rida, and now... forum text in green. Thus Adam's proposal to make the text of orthodox Bohras green (and again that in itself is a paradox since orthodox Bohras shouldn't be on this site, I'd figure) typifies this idea that the sense of unity and community for Bohras is extrinsic (physical, external), as opposed to intrinsic (internal, intangible) for most other communities. These are only hypotheses, though; what do you think?
