In karachi, when saifee hospital in North Nazimabad replaced mill wala hospital, i wrote a letter to the trustees, that as sughra bai mill wala hospital was a charitable hospital, its charitable status should be revered, and not done away with. I also cited the reason, because saifee hospital too will be a registered charity, so the basic function of providing free and affordable care should be adhered to. I never got a reply.

unfortunately, saifee hospital was taken over by jamat, it is one miserable example of antipathy, and failed conscience. Poor health care, over charging, stone hearted attitude are the order of the day.

But i am appalled, that our own people, common well doer bohras have stopped thinking about philanthropy, charity and good deeds. I alongwith some good hearted people tried to create a parallel facility. we did not get any support, even our efforts were hindered, we were ridiculed.

one example is, people in ramadan, will give wajebats, etc to the tune of crores of rupees, and millions of dollars. but if you ask the same people, have they ever thought about their near and dear ones, their kith and kins. Their answer will be "no".

wajebat is not a wajib ( fard) according to any of our fiqah. if you go through the form, the entries are rather superficial, except one for zakat. all others are just abstract.

the irony is, that our jamat never preaches us to care for our family, our friends, our neighbors.
the hype is to make us absolute submissive, that is all they need, and that is all we are required.

wajebat directly goes to dawate hadiya. dawate hadiya is registered in UK, the trustees are Qaid johar bhaisaheb and his three other brothers. if some one wants a glimpse of what wajebat are used for. it is very easy, go to uk govt site, i have already posted the link, and see what are the uses.

if only wajebats are used for health care and education and elevation of poverty from our community, millions of pound in less than one million strong community will make enormous difference.

If syedna dies after the 23rd of Ramzan,than the amils have collected all the wajibat forms along with the cheques.If he dies before that date than they might not be able to collect all the monies.Look at it on the bright side,more money might mean more fitna among themselves.This money is not going to last them long.Easy come,easy go.
If you are an amil reading this site hold on to the cheques,you dont even know who the next boss is,or you yourself are employed any longer.You might earn sawab and goodwill to destroy the checques.You can always guide people to donate the money to the charity of their own liking.

it is a tragedy, that our spiritual leader is in such dire health, and our jamat managers are carrying out the business as usual. let alone, that ordinary bohras are unaware of anything, they seem not to care about it. why arn't people informed about the current health status of syedna saheb. it is their right. should we expect any such thing from jamat and shehzadas.

The question I would ask the doctor would be if Syedna is on life support.What organs are failing.See the question of Namaz and Roza is understood.With pain killers and else,this NKD doctor is not giving us the whole enchilada.At his age some organs are possibly wornout.Dawoodi bohras demand better answers.With all this nass thing,we should have live coverage.Just concerned.

We all know that our Kothar has hijacked the entire community and kept in permanent emergency. In this situation I feel lucky that some persons close to Kothar are still in communication with me due my old association with them. But they still fear. They talk in a language which they feel is safe for them.
One Amil often phones me and meets me to give some news. He will not say it is reporting in Bohra Chronicle but will say, "Bhai Saifuddin! Kitab ma lakhwa jevi vaat thayee chhe."
