When concern about the health of Bawa sahib, was raised, some quarters termed it as anti dawat . Bawa sahib is our spiritual leader, it is but natural that we are concerned about his health. His health is vital to our affairs and daily life. He single handedly manages the affairs of our community, most of the time through his sons, acting as proxy.

Bawa sahib is 95 years or more old. Till now he has had good health, mostly due to ultra modern health care he receives at the hands of best doctors around the world. He has led an active life, controlling and managing dawat. His sons are de facto managers. Though according to dawat, being the son of an incumbent dai does not entitle one of any special privilege or perk. During this time, dawat’s 2nd in command, i.e. mazoon sahib is totally sidelined. Mukasir sahib is also sidelined.

It is also a fact, that he has yet to announce his successor to the office dai. There are speculation and speculation. If history is the guide, no human has survived more than 121 years. So, sooner than later, we shall have to take misaq in the name of then incumbent dai.

Having said all this, those who claim to be the faithful more than others, if may answer this, would you like your 95 years old father to be troubled by such a hectic schedule. If your answer is no, then why do you want bawa sahib in news everyday. Your religion does not demand this, your conscience does not demand.

Actually we should all request bawa sahib to take it easy and have some rest. We are his ardent believers, even if he is not amongst us.
