Pre-pubescent kid presiding over Chelum majlis in Houston

The one and only free public forum for Bohras. The focus of this forum is the reform movement, the Dawoodi Bohra faith and, of course, the corrupt priesthood. But the discussion is in no way restricted to the Bohras alone.

Pre-pubescent kid presiding over Chelum majlis in Houston

#1

Unread post by bohri » Tue Jan 17, 2012 10:45 pm

Not old enough for facial hair, he is presiding over the Houston chelum majlis. Why are men old enough to be his great grandfather bowing to him?

Anyone know who is his father?

bohri, how dare you question the divinity of this kid?? he has every authority to preside over whatever he likes as he has inherited the rightful mantle from the dai=imam=nabi=allah.

asking about his father is like casting aspersions on the parentage of nabi eisa!!!

with this question you have ceased being a dawoodi bohra mumin.

This is making mockery of the very religion that they so much emphasize on. This is not the first time he is doing it. It is pathetic, shameful and disgusting. And I am sure this will not be the last time. Bohras have become zombies, living dead. All those present should be ashamed too. They could atleast register their protest by opting out. That is too much to ask. This cannot happen in any other community or religion, not even in cultish ones. But ours is gem of cults.

The Houston people should be insulted by this. But yet, there they sit, just the like the prey they
have become. Voiceless, spineless, terrorized fools that don't have enough sense to realize
their elders are now being made to bow down to a boy who still has lanugo on his face.

This is worst form of Slavery!! And only WE are to be blamed for this. I mean had this been in a remote village of India, I could understand (though debatable) but in Houston, I just cannot believe this.

Bohras have crossed all the limits of Mortal Worship and this worship has become some sort of addiction. This is a proven fact that anything in 'Excess' is not good, no matter what that thing is. Moderation in everything is good. Since these abdes are going towards extreme, one day it will bring them down. So, so long abdes, continue with your extreme Mortal, Dead and Grave Worship with Purjosh Matam, daily dareeses and Pooja, and one day you will SUCCEED .........

B/W lets call the places where abdes go for their so-called Namaz as Masdirs as those places are deformed faces of Masjids and Mandirs.

Jc you will be surprised abdes who have migrated to the west are more orthodox proportionally than in cities with very large populations.

In the west parents are worried about their kids loosing culture and drag them to bohra masjid to be brainwashed

Muslim society is sparse and far apart and there is no counterbalance to bohra preaching.

Kothar know this is the new milking ground

Agree OZ ...... but this is the old generation, the generation who actually migrated and is not able to cut ties with past and history ........ they are still Indian or Pakistanis or Arabs (or even Chinese) from inside, kids do not think that way for a starter - they consider themselves as Americans, Canadians, Britishers and strive for that status ... among other 'locals' they argue that are 'equal citizens' and challange others who portray otherwise, they 'want' to be part of this society .......... so in West, wait 5 - 10 years when this generation becomes independent, a vast majority will either not attend or reduce its attendance and for sure their kids would be fully integrated in the new societies ......... thats very logical and normal and that is the reason the Immigration is allowed.

Agreed this is true with other Muslims too ........ they want to continuation of their culture, language, but this will happen to a certain extent .......... I have seen first generation Chinese, I see second generation, there is a vast difference, though they also want to preserve their identity and culture ........ but it will work to a level.

By the way is this kid the likely 54th ? Do I need to show him some respect because who know what he can do ?

May be not only does he hear the dead, he can go between the hear and the fourth dimension.

Now this kiddo is in Dallas and see the picture number 19.
I wonder if die hard Abde has any comment on this. Why is Malek Ul CHUSTER and his son Taha (no beard) has been so much in public limelight and do you condone the older people doing NAMASTE to a middle school kid ( YES HE IS MIDDLE SCHOOL IN HOUSTON)

I wonder what his classmates in Houston would say to this? Maybe he takes his pictures to school the next day for show-and-tell? In some pics, the poor fellow looks like he is falling asleep - must be past his bedtime.

And yes, i completely condone people old enough to be his grandfather bending or being made to bend, in front of him, just cause he is our Dai's grandson.
Br, Nutwala
You CONDONE wow that means you agree that it is okay for people old enough to bend in front of this kid

Hi SBM
It could be an oversight by MN, he must have meant word “Condemn” instead of “Condone”

Hi MN I m saying this on basis of :
Yes i do. i have a comment. in one word "disturbing"
This reminds me of an argument i had with another member that they were bending down to his maquaam, his knowledge, not his age. i had an issue with it that no one can vouch for his knowledge, maquaam, ok, being the grandson of our Dai, but even then, it was no reason. We eventually left it at that
