YUSUFALI: Is it not to Allah that sincere devotion is due? But those who take for protectors other than Allah (say): "We only serve them in order that they may bring us nearer to Allah." Truly Allah will judge between them in that wherein they differ. But Allah guides not such as are false and ungrateful.
PICKTHAL: Surely pure religion is for Allah only. And those who choose protecting friends beside Him (say): We worship them only that they may bring us near unto Allah. Lo! Allah will judge between them concerning that wherein they differ. Lo! Allah guideth not him who is a liar, an ingrate.
SHAKIR: Now, surely, sincere obedience is due to Allah (alone) and (as for) those who take guardians besides Him, (saying), We do not serve them save that they may make us nearer to Allah, surely Allah will judge between them in that in which they differ; surely Allah does not guide him aright who is a liar, ungrateful.

Concept of tawassul is widely accepted in Sunni fiqah and if u dont belive in tawassul u arent ahlul sunnah but u are wahabi.

Shias are trying to hide idol worship behind tawassul.

to get closer to allah u have to follow the laws set by him in the quran, also by allah saying that sincere dewotion mean u r following his command by the book

You are wrong, not only the dai but even Satya Sai baba, Asaram bapu and many other crook and fraud babas can perform miracles. Not only that, even the stone idols at tirupati, shirdi and sabarimala temples can do that otherwise why would millions of people flock there 24x7. The number of people visiting tirupati in a week is more then the entire population of bohras worldwide. The balaji idol has been gifted a diamond crown worth Rs.7 crore by Vijay Malya and another one worth Rs.44 crore. Has any bohra gifted his dai a crown even near to that amount ?? After all, the dai calls himself SULTAN and his sons SHEHZADAS and daughters SHEHZADIS, so he rightly deserves a crown, doesnt he ?? It is another thing that Mola Ali (a.s.) never addressed himself as Sultan nor were his sons referred to as Shehzada Hussain (a.s.) or Shehzada Hasan (a.s.) or his daughter as Shehzadi Zainab (a.s.).
