The one and only free public forum for Bohras. The focus of this forum is the reform movement, the Dawoodi Bohra faith and, of course, the corrupt priesthood. But the discussion is in no way restricted to the Bohras alone.

To start with, if you respected Alhumdollilah so much, you wouldn't have used it as your user-id you fool. Do you even know what it means?

Google is indeed our best friend, isn't it?

Well a good reason is, any user-id could be manipulated as you pointed out before. And you cannot expect that if you have a user-id like yours, you'll be sparred. Thus if you want to save the dignity of a holy word, better not use it as a user-id. Was that a good enough reason?

I just mentioned about google to give you a hint to find what alhumdolillah means if you didn't know. Do you know of any bohri scholars? If you do, can you be so kind and ask them the questions I've posted on another thread called "Some questions for Dawoodi Bohras" and bring me the logical answers that make sense. Thanks.

I don't understand the need to manipulate the religion and the original rules. Can you explain to me why the manipulation is being done by our community leaders?

a person who calls himself "thanks to allah" and then behaves like a completely moronic slave of a helpless human being and is begging to donate his khaal to that unislamic murderer of wild animals who loots his own people and refuses to give accounts; for such a person what better word than 'al dhillah' - a mentally unfit person?

calling you alhumdolillah would be an insult to allah.!!!

So how educated are you? Anywhere close to Asghar Ali Engineer? You can read the Wikipedia page on him to find out about some of his works. I believe that anyone who's truly educated wouldn't support lies like you do. They'd be wise enough to differentiate the right from the wrong.

what education has to do with spirituality and religion?

Muhammed(saw) was not able to write on his own but yet he was rehmatul lil aalamin and best of all human beings.

better read biography of Muhammed(saw) then reading crap about asger and praising him for nothing lol

The Prophet (s.a.w) was unschooled or unlettered. This in no way means he was 'uneducated', as he was taught in the divine school. Knowledge and education has been made obligatory on every Muslim, be it wordly or religious. There are several ahadith where the Prophet has stressed on the importance of knowledge. Shii'tes have a different understanding of the word 'ummi' in the Qur'an which has been always quoted by the people of the Ahlus sunnah to show that the Prophet (saw) was illiterate.

The Arabs, particularly those from Hijaz, were generally unlettered during that period, and those of them who could read and write were very well-known and very few in number. It would, as a rule, be impossible for a man to learn this skill under such conditions and not be well-known for this virtue among the people.

William James Durant remarks: "Evidently no one thought of teaching him (the great Prophet) reading and writing. At that time the art of reading, and writing was of little significance to the Arabs. For this very reason, there were no more than seventeen persons among the Quraysh tribe who could read and write. It is not known that Muhammad himself should have written anything. After his appointment as Prophet, he had a special scribe for him. Yet the most popular and eloquent Arabic book was recited by him. He had a better acquaintance and grasp of the affairs than the educated ones".

Constante Vergil Giorgio in his book entitled: "Muhammad - a Prophet to Be Acquainted with Afresh" remarks: "Although he was unschooled, the early verses sent down to him spoke of the pen and knowledge; namely of writing, putting into writing, learning, and of teaching. In no other major religion has knowledge been so extensively appreciated, and no other religion can be found in which such an importance has been attached to knowledge, at its initial stage of development. Had Muhammad been a scholar, no surprise would be caused at the verses having been sent down into the Ghar Hira' (Hira' Cave), since a scholar appreciates knowledge, but the Prophet was neither schooled nor tutored. I congratulate the Muslims on their religion having so dearly regarded, at its inception, the acquisition of knowledge"

al dhillah,

in a previous post you mentioned that one needs education to be able to read accounts, when i accused the syedna of hiding the account of funds collected from the community and in fact refusing to provide them.

now you contradict yrself by saying that education is not neccessary to be religious or spiritual. make up your mind, if you have one. in your case, it is obvious, that it is quite ok to be mentally retarded and stupid to be an abde, in fact that is a primary requirement to be a khaal donor ghanu jeevo type.

the reformists have hundreds of highly qualified chartered accountants and financial experts among them. so please ask syedna to provide them the accounts directly. routing them through you would be a waste, when your mental incapacity prompts you to 'thank allah' for being a moron.
