the atlanta goonda committee shows colorful pictures of the houston mosque to the mumineen and claims such a mosque would be built in atlanta. They are ignorant of any cost estimates ,do not have any approval from the governing authorities, but have collected funds from the mumineen for building of the mosque. Their so called qutbi park which is nothing more than a ram shackled old two bedroom ranch bought from the money of hard working mumineen has been shut down by the county. The first collection for mosque was made about seven years back. the money somehow vanished. no accountability. on the second occasion again a demand was made by the goonda committee to collect $16000.00 per family for building of the mosque. again, with a transfer of the amil ahuge amount was lost. there is no accountability. again this ramadan for the third time the goonda committee showed a picture of the houston mosque and banged on the microphone nearly every day asking for money to build the mosque.
the mumineen have now become very cautious. they have been burnt many a times by this goonda committee who demand big money but do nothing but pass the buck. They show fancy pictures of the mosque from elsewhere, just to hoodwink the mumineen.
About forty mosques have been built in atlanta in the past twenty years except the bohri mosque.
Their heart is not in the right place. The mosque is an excuse for the clergy to suck up dollars and even if it is built, this means free lodging and boarding place for the clergy to mint money.
allah helps to make allah's house. but if the intention is self interest and self glorification then this is the result.
