DECISION PARALYSIS:

Late in the night of 2nd August 1990, the Iraqi army marched into Kuwait and
the whole world was suddenly thrown into turmoil. Heads of nations had their
senses befuddled & the UN was in a tizzy. Total confusion prevailed as
nations watched in horror the unfolding drama, and could not even react
immediately, lest they fall on the wrong side of this equation. No one could
even comprehend what machinations or background calculations had gone into
this deadly move, as the Emir of Kuwait fled in his night clothes, and had
no time to even warn his brother, as Iraq bamboozled Kuwait into submission
with deadly precision.
If this was the condition of the whole world, one cannot imagine what must
have gone into the minds of the occupied people of Kuwait. Everything must
have seemed so suddenly surrealistic.
The Majority of the working population, who were foreigners, did not know
how to flee, or whether they would be allowed to leave at all. As soon as
they got the 1st opportunity, they started fleeing in hordes. Then worst was
still to come, as US (believed firmly by analysts to be the conniving
partner & hand in glove in this misadventure) all of a sudden decided that
Iraq should leave, or otherwise face a full-scale war. Fear turned to
frenzy. Who on earth could guide them on what to do? Whether to leave all
their hard-earned wealth & flee for their lives or stay put. This is what
one could call as a complete Paralysis of Decision.
A similar situation arose in Kenya. Elections were declared & fixed for
December of '92. There were too many players & a lot was at stake. There
were many vested interests. The people in the country feared an all out
tribal war, widespread looting & rioting. There was an all-pervasive sense
of fear, especially where everyone knew that the brunt of this would only be
borne by the affluent Asian community alone.
The Asians are mainly from the Indian subcontinent comprising of Gujaratis,
Sikhs, Ismailis & us, mumineen.
They feared a situation similar to Uganda, where Asians would have to leave
with only their personal effects, that is if they survived.
Decisions had to be taken whether to shutter their businesses & leave, and
return only if the country survived the elections. What should they do with
their wealth earned over so many years? What should they do with their young
girls who had suffered badly at the hands of the local army, in an abortive
coup in 1982?
Again, a complete Paralysis of Decision.
In such times revelation takes place.
Businessmen from the Vania (Gujarati) community, from the Sikh community &
from the Khojas, approached mumineen businessmen, and asked them what
decision, the community, had taken, on whether to leave or stay. They simply
put it as this " What guidance has your Syedna Saheb given you? If Syedna
Saheb has asked you to stay back, that is what we will do". They very well
knew what had happened in Kuwait earlier, when under such trying times, how
Maula's Irshaad Munir changed the entire lives of Mumineen & how correct
their decision had turned out to be.
Similarly in Kenya, Maula's irshaad munir was to stay, and open their shops
after the elections. That is what mumineen did, and that is what the other
communities did. They stayed there, in spite of the extremely high risk to
their lives & property.
When one reflects on this, one realizes the deep significance of this
attitude. Entire communities taking decisions of LIFE & DEATH, of SURVIVAL
versus TOTAL DEFEAT & DESTRUCTION, based alone on Maula's Irshaad.
Mumineen have faced similar situations during a coup in Madagascar, or
China's 1997 takeover over Hongkong & riots in India.
Who showed them light? Who delivered them from their plight? Who took their
decision?
We mumineen, in our lives never face such a paralysis of decision, as we
have a Maula to decide for us.
We are therefore always right, and hence not surprising if others repose
faith in our decisions.
Is it not why then we always join with a prayer in our hearts & Aameen on
our lips, whenever we hear or say, that, " MAY ALLAH GRANT OUR SHAFIQ BAWA,
OUR BELOVED MAULA BURHANUDDIN AQA, A LONG LONG LIFE WITH SEHAT TA'AMA!"

Talking of some incident, which cannot be verified, is easier. But negating hard facts are difficult. Falling or not falling of rains is a natural phenomena and Sayedna has absolutely no say in this natural process. But he is known to take credit for it. So obliviously a question arises that: During recent Gujarat Riots where was Sayedna Saheb's Irshad and guidance to suffering momineen?
These momineen are still suffering and Sayedna Saheb is blessing the Butcher of Gujarat, Narendra Modi who is responsible for all these miseries inflicted on Mumineen and other Muslims.
During Gujrat Riots the Loss, suffering and death among Bohras:
More than 1,700 shops and houses belonging to Dawoodi Bohras were destroyed resulting in a loss of Rs. 101 crores. Deaths of 83 Bohras were confirmed.

Ahmedabad: 120 houses, 80 shops, in suburbs: 75 houses, 16 shops. Total loss: 9.25 crores.
Rajkot: 75 shops/businesses, 11 houses. Total loss: 90 lakhs.
Dahod: 840 industries, shops, business houses. Total loss: 12 crores.
Godhara, Panchmahal district: 250 shops/offices. Total loss: 11 crores
Bhavnagar: 40 shops, 26 houses. Total loss: 3 crores
Viramgam: 55 shops. Total loss: 3 crores
Lathi, Morbi, Limdi, Junagad, Surendra Nagar: 15 shops. Total loss: 50 lakhs
Varodra City and suburbs: 120 shops and houses. Total loss: 4 crores
Surat: 60 shops and houses. Total loss: 1.5 crores
Bharuch: 43 houses and shops.
Total loss: 1.35 crores
Mehasana: 9 shops. Total loss: 1 crore

When Gujarat was burning, P.M. Atal Bihari Vajpayee went there after a month's destruction. And Sayedna Saheb who claims to be the master of the body, soul and property Dawoodi Bohras, went to Indore, where he spent Rs. 11 crores on his Vaiz-tamasha. More than one lakh Bohras were called at Indore where they were fed lavish food for 10 days. But neither Sayedna Saheb nor his followers cared for the suffering of the Bohras of Gujarat.
Sall we then say:
