Assalamu Alaykum,
I am just wondering and asking the same questions over and over again, especially to those who believe that Burhanuddin is the right leader and also believe that they are in the right faith.
My question is 'how do you know?' Because you were born in this faith and have always been told that this is the right religion? Interestingly, everyone has been! A sunni is told he is on the right path, a shia is told the same thing, and so is a Christian told. All of them also have lots of stories and arguments to support their claim, and all believe they are heeding straight to Heaven while everyone else is destined for Hell!
Why are you on the right path? Because all your friends, families and people around you have told so and you keep believing them.
Just as a side remark, the non-Muslims at the time of Muhammad (sws) also felt the same, and they also said they were on the right path, and they did not even accept Muhammad (sws)!
Something to think about.
Comments are welcome.
Best Regards
Why am I right?
Re: Why am I right?
yes, in the time of Mohammed there was idol worship in Arabia of uzzaa and in times of Pharoh was the worship of eagle and cow.
Mohammed's message is simple and the very first sentences of the quran in Surah-e- Bakr are clear as to what is islam.
1, refrain from evil i.e. do not support the devil
2, Believe in the unseen
3. Believe in what was revealed to Mohammed and not only Mohammed but all the scriptures before Mohammed
4. And believe in the here after.
So, the reason why the quran's first chapter is titled Bakr meaning cow.
Also the Quran catagorically establishes the deen of Mohammed as Allah's deen, thereby condemning all these small sects and denominations some of which were formed way after the Rasool. and specifically states that these leaders would be answerable on judjement day.
Read the Quran. Whatever is in agreement with the quran, accept it and whatever is contrary to it , reject it.
