Toronto Madrasa

The drive is going on to get C$15million in the name of Madrasa ........(Approx C$3 million alrady collected) there are approx 300 families and the feelers are out that each family will have to dish out C$50,000 ...... abdes/amtes are talking about this and saying 'Jamat is giving FACILITIES to 'contribute' to this fund' ......... and the facility is that you can PAY this monthly by way of pre-authorized debits over 5 year (so $835/month).

Average family currently is paying C$1,200 as Sabeel, C$1,200 as Wajebat and C$1,800 to Qardan ($350/month). There are numerous other taxes which approx would come to not less than additional $100 a month.

So EACH family is paying approx. $1,300 to Jamat ......... average income of these families is C$4,000 net (hence Jamat takes approx 32% of net income of each family).

And when Madrassa is up and running .......... it will be 'property' of Dai or one his brothers or sons. All maintenance cost will be borne by abdes, Head Moalim and one teacher will be paid out from monthly fee (which currently is around C$50/month per child). All other teachers are VOLUNTEERS and are NOT paid.

Conclusion: A property worth C$18 million for Dakoo Family without any contribution, constant source of income for family and chamchas!!

I ask Toronto Bohras , what if you just say no! What can they really do ? If they kick you out why do you care, the Muslim community in canada is quite sophisticated with facilities and amenities.

I mean really if you really value bohra ideology as priceless then pay up and shut up, sorry, or quit.

Why will I not be surprised people will complain till the cows come home and after a while majority will pay up to look good in the eyes of the Amil and collect a 50c handkerchief

I know some will say it is for a good cause! Well I will not go into it but $15million is a big project ...

I bet Kothar have realised madrassa are good ways of getting abdes to pay for a facility to bring their children to be cloned into abdes so when they grow up they remain abdes. It is a factory for abdes where the slave master does not invest a cent.

Even Kim Jung Un of Korea would be envious.

spineless bohras deserves this treatment.

if bohras in west has this situation, what would be condition in INDIAN and PAKISTANI/YEMENI rural areas.
